About this property

At the Beach

Hidden away in a small and quiet complex is this first floor holiday pad. Very comfortable and well equipped, it will provide you with a perfect young family accommodation.
There are two bedrooms, main has a king size bed. Second bedroom has bunk beds that sleep three. You can put the kids safely away to be entertained with their own TV, stereo and a DVD player (selection of DVDs supplied).
There is a sofa bed in the living room, which can be used by prior arrangement for a larger family.
There is no need to drive anywhere once you make yourself comfortable, as everything you need is at your doorstep. Step out to the patrolled Thirroul Beach, Olympic size swimming pool, surf club, state of the art kids play park, and a recreation park just across the street.
In addition, there is the newly refurbished Thirroul Beach Pavilion, with a café on the promenade overlooking the beach. Thirroul village is approximately 100 meters away with its fine eateries, Anita’s Theatre, shops and pubs.

The location was very convenient. Able to walk into town to the grocery store, shops and restaurants. The beach was also a 5 minute walk. Local trains can quickly take you to Wollongong and Sydney. Host was very responsive to any questions or needs. Would definitely recommend this place.

The apartment is close to the beach, train station and shopping area. It is a short flat walk to all these locations. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our time at Thirroul. Our reason for visiting was to catch up with family.

Very clean unit in an excellent location. So close to the beach, park and shops. Beds are really comfy and the pencils, toys and DVDs for kids are a lovely touch. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Thirroul

Sensational location for a quiet getaway. Apartment was on the small side - no worries as only used it for sleeping as there was plenty to do. Loved the area so much. Outside looks are a little off putting but don't let this deceive you, as a cute small quiet stay awaits. Would have liked a google chrome/apple tv to stream our services but no matter weather was perfect so not a lot of tv was watched.

Beautiful beach apartment in excellent location

A beautifully outfitted apartment across the road from beach, children's playground and beach Cafe. Loved the beach theme throughout the apartment. Apartment had everything we needed. Visited in cool weather so lack of aircon was not a problem. Main bed amazingly comfy, double bed in 2nd room less so with exposed springs. The toys in the 2nd bedroom were loved by our 3 year old. 5 out of 5. We only stayed for 2 nights - could easily stay a week. Thanks for having us.

Great location.

Great location right near beach. Couple gripes. Rug in main living room was disgusting, stains all over it. The unit was fresh and clean other than that. The bathroom is ridiculous, there is no step into the shower, so when you do shower the water goes all over the bathroom floor , in front of toilet and basin. If you put the bath mat down it’s gets totally soaked thru,

Beach life

Fortunately the apartment is no reflection of the parking area and apartment building. Lovely beach theme and 3 min to the beach, 5 minutes to main strip of great restaurants and bars. Very clean and comfortable.

Old & Very tired

Not suitable for 4 adults. Bathroom is pokey and inadequate. Only 1 toilet and it’s in the bathroom. When arrived there was washing hanging on a drying rack in the dining room! A 300 cleaning fee as standard is outrageous.

Great beach accommodation

This apartment is in a fantastic location, a very short walk from both Thirroul beach and shops/restaurants/cafes. The apartment is really well appointed and perfect for having a family in terms of cooking/playing etc. Worth noting that the listing information includes a pool, but this was just the Thirroul pool (which is closed half the year) - I'd figured as much but a bit misleading. The apartment complex is a bit rundown and we had some friendly but quite noisy neighbours downstairs, but it's great once you get in the apartment. Unfortunately there's a building going up in the one spot you can see the water, almost entirely obscuring it.
