About this property

At the Beach

Hidden away in a small and quiet complex is this first floor holiday pad. Very comfortable and well equipped, it will provide you with a perfect young family accommodation.
There are two bedrooms, main has a king size bed. Second bedroom has bunk beds that sleep three. You can put the kids safely away to be entertained with their own TV, stereo and a DVD player (selection of DVDs supplied).
There is a sofa bed in the living room, which can be used by prior arrangement for a larger family.
There is no need to drive anywhere once you make yourself comfortable, as everything you need is at your doorstep. Step out to the patrolled Thirroul Beach, Olympic size swimming pool, surf club, state of the art kids play park, and a recreation park just across the street.
In addition, there is the newly refurbished Thirroul Beach Pavilion, with a café on the promenade overlooking the beach. Thirroul village is approximately 100 meters away with its fine eateries, Anita’s Theatre, shops and pubs.

Great apartment with everything you could need for a lovely stay. The arrival instructions were clear although I did receive two different PIN numbers for the keys but no issue once I realised and tried the different pin in the communication. Everything was clean and the decor was lovely.Barbara was a very responsive host. The location could not be better with a 1 minute walk to the beach and 10mins to shops. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Nice clean apartment with all amenities just a 2min walk to the beach, pool and playground and 8min walk into town for an abundance of food and supermarket options. Thirroul was a pleasant surprise, only an hour or so from Sydney. We usually drive straight passed, but so glad we had our little January south coast getaway here. No complaints, just fun memories.

The location was very convenient. Able to walk into town to the grocery store, shops and restaurants. The beach was also a 5 minute walk. Local trains can quickly take you to Wollongong and Sydney. Host was very responsive to any questions or needs. Would definitely recommend this place.

So close to the beach as well as everything we needed. Easy access to transportation eg. buses and train. Lots of excellent cafes and restaurants that were an easy walking distance. There was no view of the beach but it was very close. The town with restaurants and grocery store was very convenient. We arrived at night and were not familiar with how to locate Australian apartment addresses but we eventually found the place and the checkin was problem-free. We appreciated having a washing machine in the unit. A clothes dryer would have been nice but we managed well. We don't know when we will be back to the Wollongong area, but if we come back, we would easily stay here again.
