About this property

Frog Cottage - Noosa Hinterland on Noosa Trail Network - Dog & Horse Friendly

Relax at Frog Cottage in the rolling hills of the Noosa Hinterland located on our 12 acre horse property in absolute seclusion but just a 5 minute drive to Pomona village and 25 minutes to Noosa. Being directly on the Noosa Trail Network we are ideal for hikers, cyclists and horse riders.
Saturday night bookings include an early check in (9am) and a late check out (3pm).
The Black Pinch property provides a farm environment experience with our horses, free ranging chickens, geese and ducks.
Visit the nearby Pomona Gin Distillery, climb Mt Cooroora where the famous 'Man of the Mountain' competition is contested every year, and stroll, cycle or horse ride the Noosa Trail Network which passes by our front gate.
Frog cottage is air conditioned, comfortably furnished and is ideal for a couple or 2 friends. The living area also has a sofa bed so this could be used for younger children. In the adjacent garden area there is a Weber BBQ for the guests personal use.
The cottage is a stand alone structure adjacent to the main house and is surrounded by horse paddocks and a large dam and seasonal creek.
Please be aware that we are in a valley and that although there is mobile phone and internet reception it can be at a low level due to the hilly terrain of the area. There is a DVD player and a selection of DVD's, plus Netflix, Stan and free to air TV.
Dogs are welcome too as long as they are good with our free ranging roosters and chickens, ducks and geese, and our 2 dogs. Our dogs are well socialised.
We welcome horse riders and can offer a dedicated paddock with auto water troughs or a stable and yard at a small additional fee of $20 per night per horse.
Children can meet our lovely horses and our very friendly ducks, geese and chickens. Close by as well as the stunning national parks and trails is a host of boutique cafes and distilleries such as the Hinterland Brewing Company at Cooran and the Black Ant Cafe at Kin Kin. And Noosa's Hastings Street with it's wonderful restaurants and shopping is only 30 minutes away.
We will supply a gate code for entry prior to your stay.

Lovely hinterland getaway
My boyfriend and I loved our stay here. It had all the facilities that we needed, a beautiful home, the hosts were so lovely and recommended some walks and things to do around the area. I would definitely stay here again.
