Relaxing stay on Long Island!

The home was very comfortable and location was great.The host was great for taking care of any problems immediately and answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here,as we plan on coming back again.

Lindsay Estate Weekend

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lindsay House! The house was clean, spacious and had plenty of natural light. Our only recommendation would be for better quality toilet paper!

Amazing stay

We were a Group of 8 people and stayed at the house for 9 days. We had a wonderful time! The house was great and everything we hoped for. It was big enough for a large Group of people and we still had so much space. The house already came with so much stuff everything necessary was there as well! The location is amazing, very quiet, the beach is really close and important shops as well. The house was very comfortable and the best part is the garden with the amazing pool, seating areas, BBQ and fire station and a jacuzzi! We couldnt have asked for a better stay!

Memorial Day Weekend Friendcation

Our group rents a house for "friendcations," and this year we chose this property. We were impressed with the listing and photos, especially the pool. The house did not disappoint! Clean and spacious, with gorgeous grounds. Very communicative, helpful answering questions. They even helped us locate headphones that had been left behind. A fabulous rental.

There’s an old film from the 1960s, Brigadoon, where a magical village appears for just one day before vanishing again. Staying at The Lindsey feels a bit like that—so perfect, so improbable, you wonder if it exists once you leave.The backyard is the heart of this home. Mornings began with coffee in an Adirondack chair overlooking a private park-like lawn. The crystal-clear saltwater pool is surrounded by loungers, umbrellas, and even two submerged chairs for reading while you cool off. From morning to evening, the patio offered something for everyone—lunches by the Weber grill, s’mores around the fire pit, and hot tub soaks under the stars.Inside, the house is spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The primary suite features a large spa-like shower, while additional bedrooms easily accommodated our family. The kitchen is fully stocked and opens to a casual family room with a big sectional and smart TV. We also enjoyed the elegant dining room, the sunny breakfast nook (which became our Lego HQ), and the garage with a second fridge, pool table, and dartboard.The biggest surprise was Wading River itself. Sunflower fields, farm stands, and a calm, timeless atmosphere made it feel worlds away from the bustle of the Cape or Berkshires—even in peak season. The Lindsey isn’t just a vacation rental—it’s a place where mornings spill into long afternoons, and nights stretch happily into memory. That’s if it exists at all — until next year!

The house was really spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool everyday. The house is very nicely decorated with many spots to hang out, eat meals together and also get some privacy, even with a bigger group. The owners provided lots of pool floats and beach stuff, which we also took advantage of. Management company was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend!

The house was luxurious, had all amenities you could need, and was in a great location. Close to wineries, great restaurants, and much more. Luxury Beach Front Rentals was the best rental company I have ever gone through. Debbie was always there for me with any questions I had and made the stay extremely easy. Reviewer Comments: My family has rented many properties from Luxury Beach Getaway from family vacations to wedding guests.This year we decided to rent a property with a pool and it was amazing.The home was so comfortable and clean with room for everyone to be relaxed.The huge backyard was fenced in so children and pup were safe. The heated pool was perfect for the adults, child and toddler. What better than a hot tub after a swim.We ate outside for all our meals enjoying barbecues and s’mores with the fire pit.There are so many attractions nearby but found ourselves so content taking advantage of the peace and quiet of the property.Of course we had to go to the beach for those beautiful sunsets.One of our favorite family vacations!Thank you Virginia and Debbie!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As the picture shows, the pool at this house is very nice as are the grounds outside. We found the house to be comfortable but there were several things that were broken or didn't work that we were disapointed with given the price we paid. Which by the way, the price listed on the LuxuryBeachGetaway website was apparently incorrect for our dates of stay so we ended up having to pay more. So if you're using that site I would verify the price before confirming. Back to the house. It is comfortable and nice. However, the fireplace did not work (out of propone as the handyman explained to us when he checked it - so it did not work during our stay), the dishwasher leaked, the drain appeared to be clogged, the handyman did not want to deal with this. The bedframe in the master bedroom needed to be fixed so that the mattress would not deeply sag. A handyman had to come and fix that. There were a couple of other somewhat minor issues. In the end, we have stayed at many properties on Long Island and elsewhere and for the price, we feel this property did not justify the price.

Celebrating Mom's Retirement

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Lindsay. The house is exactly as described. It's large with plenty of space, so you have room to stretch out. The property was clean, and except for the microwave, was in working order. For our purposes, the house was in the perfect location...close to the Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard where we were celebrating mom’s retirement, and close to our family. This made it easy for everyone to come to the house in order to enjoy the pool and hot tub...which we did. The back yard is huge and allowed space for our pup to run around. A great time was had by ALL and we will definitely bookmark this for future stays.

Exceeded Expectations

The property had everything you can think of and more; a heated pool with lights, a hot tub, two fridges to store all of the food we fired up on the grill, a fire pit, and a wonderful and spacious interior that met our needs for a game night during the one night it rained. We were close to the beach and visited for the incredible sunrise and sunset which offered us beautiful views. All in all, we didn't want to spend too much time away from the property while there because it fostered such a comfortable atmosphere for us and our guests. The Lindsay offered the intimate and entertaining atmosphere my girlfriend was looking for to celebrate her 30th with the people she's closest to. The property Managers Virginia and Debby were quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure our stay was as comfortable and luxurious as it could be. We recommend Lindsay for any stay.

Great weekend getaway!

The house was extremely clean and in a great location that was about a half mile from the beach. It was too cold to use the pool in early May, but the backyard was beautiful and private. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a few days and I especially appreciated that there was a nice desk space with a monitor to work. 4 bedrooms were big and there were plenty of areas to hang with friends and not feel on top of each other which was nice for our big group.
