Beautiful cabin with Roof Top deck perfect for sunrises, sunsets, star and meteor gazing! The deck is accessed from a staircase outside the cabin. The 500 foot deep canyon that we are situated on the crest of allows for a gentle breeze always! The Milky Way has 1 King bed, electric fireplace, heater/air conditioner, private bath with shower, full kitchen including; pots, pans dishes, glasses and silverware. Comes with all sheets, bath towels, eco-friendly toiletries. Also included are local ingredients for you to prepare your own breakfast at your leisure, farm fresh eggs, locally smoked Canadian bacon, locally roasted coffee and more! Also has a Weber BBQ Grill for your private use. We supply Charcoal and lighter fluid for your grilling pleasure! The Milky Way Cabin is a 425 sq ft cabin great for that quiet country getaway to restore tranquility and clarity of life. Shares a hot tub with only one other cabin.

Wonderful beautiful property we loved the cabins and stars at night were something to marvel at

Carl and Rhonda went over and above making sure my wife’s birthday was perfect they called me before and offered to get roses locally sourced fruit and chocolates and a bottle of champagne and a banner saying happy birthday their hospitality was amazing and refreshing. And everything was perfect for 💕my Wife💕.

A semi-retired chef and a semi-retired corporate HR manager escaping the commute. We work everyday and love it all! The new folks we meet and start new relationships coupled with the animals and the weather are bonuses!

What makes this property unique

We have free range chickens that run the property and young cows that love to be fed cow treats from your hands. The treats are provided! We also supply corn for deer to be thrown out of the cabin for the deer that live in the area and are our constant guests! Breakfast items of Farm fresh eggs, locally smoked Canadian bacon, locally roasted coffee, biscuit dough and more that is stocked in your cabin for you to prepare and enjoy from the leisure of your cabin while enjoying the breath-taking view from the deck. We are happy to change items out to accommodate dietary preferences, IE Gluten free, vegetarian, Vegan etc.

The Milky Way Cabin is decorated with original artwork from a Houston Artist and is available for purchase to take as a souvenir!
