Very easy check in, good coffee. Extra linen charge for kids was a bit steep 10ea per night. Didn't realise until arrival.Great location and friendly staff
The cabin was comfortable, the air conditioner was appreciated, extra ammenities blocks were used because of our larger group.
Landscape was beautiful.
Great spot for a short break not far to Quorn or Hawker
Easy check in very friendly staff and very doggy friendly well stocked on site shop we enjoyed the Flinders Gin while sitting around our fire toasting marshmallows less than 4 hours from home and we’ll be back soon 😀

Loved this place. Can't wait to come back. Their lamb you can buy was delicious!!
Quiet and peaceful cabin in a small caravan park. All the amenities you need for a comfortable stay while you explore the Flinders National Parks and Pt Augusta.
This is a truly Wind Down holiday in a beautiful gorge. Space between campers, cabins and caravans. Camp fires at night, clear skies, great walking trails, and dog friendly. Would recommend to anyone for a unique experience.
This was a great find and a perfect half-way stop for our Eyre Peninsular getaway. Close to Alligator Gorge and many other tracks. We purchased a lamb roast which we cooked for NYE at our next destination. Can totally recommend the Flinders Gin distillery tasting session in Quorn, or simply purchase it from the Spear Creek office. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful location fabulous scenery. Staff friendly and helpful.
There was a 21st Birthday Party during our stay where music played loudly throughout the night -shame this disturbed such a peaceful setting. The other nights were very peaceful and quiet.
We had a great little family getaway here including our dog. There are 2 hikes you can do directly from the property which were pretty special. One track more difficult than the other. We did both tracks with our 9 year old daughter and 13 year old son. We saw mountain goats, yellow footed wallabies, a goanna and listened to many kookaburras. The team are very friendly and helpful.
The bungalow is basic but clean. Loved the fire pit.
Had a lovely stay at Spear Creek. Beautiful scenery driving into the park, gorgeous views of the Ranges and beautiful red gums line the drive as you make your way down. Cozy little cabins & they were spotless. We stayed on our way out and back from Eyre Peninsula with our 2 dogs and it was very comfortable even on a 43c day! Absolutely stunning sunsets and grounds, loads of wildlife, can't wait to come back soon in the cooler weather to check out the campsites and do some hiking. Check in and out was easy, good communication and the whole place just felt really relaxing. Young lady at reception (sorry I didn't catch your name!) was super lovely & friendly.
Do not pay good money to stay in one of these bungalows! There is a reason they only have a few photos on their advertising. The furniture is so old (including the beds/mattresses), I'm sure they haven't been updated since the 80's. The linen and curtains are just as old and threadbare and the curtains are falling off the rails. The couches are so used that you sit on them and hit the wooden frame and they and accompanying pillows are covered in stains. Disgusting! The worse thing is that you walk into the bungalow and it smells like there has been a recent fire. We actually searched for evidence of this until we realised that is was all the curtains, bedding, couches, towels etc that reeked of smoke and were frankly, unusable. The stench was so bad it caused me to have an asthma attack and my partner a severely sore throat. The few hours we spent there I spent mostly in the car so I could breathe. As we had arrived in the dark, late in the afternoon after driving all day, my partner needed some rest before we could leave early in the morning. The host has taken no responsibility for their horrible accommodation and have refused a refund for a two night stay when we only stayed a few hours (well my partner did, as I was in the car). We tried to do this privately but the owner has stopped responding after stating they were not going to refund us. Unless you wish to stay in a dilapidated, fire pit...DO NOT STAY HERE!
Great escape with friends for a weekend (or longer)
Our friends vary in type of accommodation they prefer and Spear Creek caters for us all from tents to bungalows. We enjoyed a weekend (some a little longer) and the two walks on the property, sunset and good times around the camp fire plus a few took their 4WDs out for a spin. The morning coffee van was also a winner, as were the friendly staff there to help when ever needed.I had forgotten it was possible to escape to the Southern Flinder Ranges so easily - highly recommend if you need a break and spend a couple of nights under the stars or want to catch up with friends.
What a beautiful location to stay. My husband, 3 young children and I stayed in one of the bungalows on this property. It was neat and tidy and had everything we needed. It was lovely to wake up to the beautiful scenery.
My only criticism would be that the beds could be more comfortable. Other than that it was great.
Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
Good cabin for a family. You can buy lamb on site and cook it on the BBQ out the back. The bed is comfy. Room for three kids. The shower is hilarious: alternates between hot and cold and is like a coffin. Good heating if you want to visit in winter as we did. Lovely walks on site. Sunset seat is great
