Experience the uniqueness of Acacia House, a picturesque 120-year-old four-bedroom traditional timber house featuring high wooden ceilings and classic architecture throughout. Located in the beautiful Hunter Valley town of Branxton this historic township has a traditional high street with a great pub, butcher, bakery, café, general store, golf course and public pool, all within walking distance of the property. Take a short drive to the delights of Wine Country Drive and the famous vineyards of Pokolbin, Lovedale and Rothbury for wine and beer tasting, a round of golf or to enjoy a concert. Drive to the Hunter Valley Gardens in just 14 minutes’ and experience Peterson’s Sparkling Wines in under 5 minutes. Wedding guests of Dalwood Estate will also love the location.

Acacia House is an inviting home that celebrates a blend of the old and the new along with art and unique design features that inject warmth and charm. Packed with character Acacia House has been designed as an escape for groups of friends and families, including your four-legged friend.

There are four spacious bedrooms; one bedroom with a king split bed, one bedroom with a king size bed, one bedroom with a king split bed plus extra single bed, and the fourth bedroom has a queen-sized sleigh bed. There are a total of 2.5 bathrooms; one with a divine clawfoot bathtub and walk in shower, the other with a shower over the petite bath.

At the end of the central hallway, you are greeted with the living/dining room and country kitchen with an ornamental cast iron stove, French door fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven and coffee machine which will make entertainment easy. For those longer stays an indoor laundry will provide all of the conveniences you might need. For comfort year-round guests will enjoy reverse cycle air-conditioning and a gas heater for those cooler nights.

Enjoy indoor/outdoor living with bi-fold doors opening up to an outdoor undercover terrace boasting a large dining table, BBQ, and pizza oven where you can cook up a storm. Escape to the private paved garden to enjoy a spa in the outdoor hot tub or retreat to the hammock for that relaxing wind-down with a book. Throw open the kitchen servery window and enjoy your favourite cocktail on the terrace and enjoy the generous back yard, which is fully fenced, ideal for kids playtime and to keep your pet in view. Enjoy the views from the house of the private back yard, complete with large lawn, vegetable garden and selected Australian native culinary trees and herbs; a perfect spot to relax and sip your drinks in the evening.

At the end of the garden the kids, big and small, will enjoy the games room with its pool table, Pac-Man arcade game, Smart TV, PlayStation 2, dartboard, selection of board games, and outside basketball hoop and trampoline. A separate bathroom is also located in the games room.

Acacia House will become your home away from home and be the ideal location to explore everything you love about the Hunter Valley.

This property welcomes pets and has one kennel available for guest use. We permit a maximum of 2 dogs at the property at any one time. A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.

9th guest (adult or child) free of charge.
A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.
Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $700 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

CATERING and IN HOUSE CHEFS: All in-house chefs and caterers to Acacia House are exclusively provided and managed by our partners Hunter Concierge on-site.

NOTES
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.

Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.
