The house smelled musty when we arrived. We had to buy a number of kitchen items including a coffee maker (the one provides was moldy/dirty) & sauté pans (the ones provided were old & burned). The rug in master BR had loops pulled out that posed a tripping hazard. Oven was dirty. Loveseat on deck was torn, unusable, a rusted can on the table full of peanut shells & cigarette butts. Our contact person responded promptly to 2 issues but could not resolve them. Middle drawer of dresser in bunk BR broken (drawer front pulled off when I tried to open drawer. Coffee provided was an opened half bag, no K-cups, no sugar or creamer. No salt/pepper shakers.

Long Weekend in St Mary’s GA

Our family came down from NJ for a long weekend to celebrate my granddaughters first birthday. The house and the location was perfect. Plenty of space in the house for everyone, huge yard for the kids to play in and very close to the park, restaurants and coffee shops. We will definitely book this house again when we return.

Year 15 of Girls’ Getaway

This was the perfect house for a group of current and retired educators. The large living and dining rooms accommodated the 7 of us comfortably for lazy mornings, group dining and game nights. The location provided easy walking for those so inclined.

Great little house

It was perfect for our family. Wished the kitchen was a little more ready for cooking. We bought a rolling pin and a liquid measuring cup (which we left) because we love to cook. The front bedroom had a light that sporadically came on, with no clear instructions on how to turn off. Overall we would rent again.

Nice house, but dirty

Nice house, but we all thought the house was neglected in cleaning. My mother sweep the floor in one of the bedrooms and found dog hair(lots of it). It felt like surfaces were wiped off, but not sanitized. The outside of the house really needs to be power washed.

St. Marys 4th if July

The property was great for our family and perfect location for 4th of July in St. Marys!! Our only real issues were the attention to detail of the actual property managers. When we arrived we only had exactly 10 bath towels for the 10 of us; no wash cloths, no hand towels, no bath mats and no dish towels. They finally brought us a bag of cheap hand towels and wash cloths from Wal Mart while we were out on Monday. Also, there was no bath soap, hand soap or dish soap. In fact, the dispensers they had in the bathrooms and by the kitchen sink all had what appeared to be shampoo and even conditioner! It definitely was NOT hand soap or dish soap!! Also, we found a dirty pan with cereal and milk in it under one of the beds as well as a number of other dishes that were not very clean. In addition, there was food stuck on the kitchen counter in several places so it was very clear the kitchen counters had not been cleaned and disinfected properly! Also, there was a funky smell in the hall bathroom downstairs. After several days, we figured out it was the new toilet paper rolls in the holder and they were damp. As soon as we got them out of the bathroom, the smell went away. Not sure how they got wet, but they were. Lastly, the trash can AND the recycle bin were full of trash which we did not know until it was too late to put out as the neighbors trash cans were out which we thought belonged to our house. Just attention to detail on many things.
