This 70-year-old traditional Japanese house is located in Toda (Heda), Numazu City, in West Izu.
It’s a rustic, old-fashioned house brimming with “nostalgia.”
Just a 1-minute walk to the calm waters of the bay, where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
A 5-minute drive away, Mihama Cape Seaside Park offers a view of Mount Fuji right across the ocean,
and nearby you’ll find restaurants serving seafood and Japanese spider crabs, as well as cafes and bars with stunning views.
A convenience store is a 3-minute walk away, a day-trip hot spring is a 3-minute drive, and a fishing spot is a 1-minute walk.
It’s the perfect base for swimming, fishing, cycling, touring, and hiking.

uminca is a 70-year-old traditional house located in Heda, Numazu City, Nishiizu. It’s an old building, so it’s not the most modern, but it has a nostalgic atmosphere of old Japan. Come and enjoy the calm sea and the wonderful sunshine.

どこか懐かしくてスタイリッシュな古民家と海に癒されて

木造の日本家屋は、田舎のおばあちゃんの家のようで、初めて来たのに懐かしさを覚えてとても居心地がよかったです。手入れが行き届いていることと、スタイリッシュな調度品にも大満足です。センスの良いシンプルな新しい家具が、古民家の調度品と調和していてとても素敵でした。さらに、海まで徒歩１分で朝のお散歩が気持ちよく、海沿いのタゴールハーバーホステルでいただいた夕方のビールの味は格別でした。違う季節にまた伺いたいです。
