Great location & hot tub!

Great location, only 10 min drive to White Salmon, and the hot tub was great! The rooms are on opposite ends of the house, which provided tons of privacy.

Gorge hide away

I had a great time staying at The Fusion while I was in the Columbia Gorge fishing with friends and family. Greg is a great host - he has his home nicely decorated and well supplied. I’d recommend The Fusion to anyone looking to spend a few days in the Gorge. It’s a nice base camp that is away from town, but close enough if you need to shop or go out to eat.

weekend in White Salmon

Nice rural setting for a family get-together. Enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor decks. Large bedrooms, house was very clean. We contacted the manager about the outdoor grill, he was prompt in his reply (but needs to replace it !). Kitchen was fairly well-stocked. Overall, a very enjoyable visit to this beautiful area.

Nice 2 bedroom house with kitchen, tv room. And living room. Hot tub outside and jetted tub in master bedroom. Close to white salmon or hood river but very much in country. Host was very friendly and helpful when minor repair was needed in bathroom. Family enjoyed stay.

Majestical (a fusion of majestic and magical)

The Fusion rental home was a great place to stay for all of us. Roomy- one nice thing about the bedrooms is that they are on separate ends of home- for more privacy. Kitchen fully stocked with pans, bowls, plates, etc. Two living rooms with very comfortable furniture, that was much appreciated after a full day of hiking. We mostly enjoyed the Washington side….and if you love nature and natural wonders such as caves and lots of waterfalls and mystical looking rocks and great trails, then this is a perfect place. Nice patio out front with comfortable chairs and table- awesome view. The hot tub was awesome and everything was super clean. Overall very chill atmosphere and very relaxing. Thank you Gregory for opening up this home for people to come enjoy it and make fantastic memories.

Easy to work with owner

The upsides: it's location and owner is very nice and stayed in contact. Beautiful setting and, while the caretaker's cabin is a few feet from the hot tub, she's friendly and kept curtains closed so we didn't mind. However, lots of ice on the deck around the hot tub so even with the salting that got done after we arrived, it was a little tricky to manuever. Lots of cats around the yard and at least one dog. The interior is nicely decorated and had everything you could need. The downsides: It was sitting awhile as there were cobwebs in the ceiling corners and stink bugs (dead and alive) everywhere. Also, stove top and backsplash were dirty and there was food in the frig (including ground sausage) that we tossed. We cleaned and swept as soon as we got there. The caretaker and owner were very apologetic and I doubt it will be an issue in the future! The beds are on the firmer side and bring blankets if staying in the winter. Being February and snow on the ground~ it was chilly but the wood stove was great! The raised platform style bathtub has an unusual knob set up~ you have to climb around a bit to get to it, but nice once you get in. All in all, it was where we were meant to be and three long time friends had a memorable time!

Please know that I hired a professional cleaning service to take care of the property and to ensure that future guests do not share your experience. Guests are already seeing a positive difference. - Please know that there's no longer a dog on the property. - The caretaker's apartment blinds will always be closed. If the caretaker is present, he will use the back entrance to the apartment, giving guests complete privacy. If you are ever back in the Columbia River Gorge, I hope you stay again and take advantage of the location, the hot tub, and the 3.5 acres of privacy. Have a great summer.

House was decently clean and location ok.

The house is in a woodsy area and had way too many bugs outside on house. The kitchen did not have all the basics , needs a few more things to make it easier to cook in. Great hot tub!

Hi Michele, the homeowner wanted to pass this along: - Thank you for staying at The Fusion and taking the time to leave a review. - Regarding the kitchen supplies, I have added almost everything a guest could possibly need. These items include plenty of pots and pans, a coffee maker, an Espresso machine, and more. - Since we are in the woods, we tend to get some bugs (We call them Box Elder/Dumb bugs), especially in The Spring time. Over The Spring, I sealed all possible routes for them to get inside, and we will spray inside to address the issue. Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

This rental had most of what we needed, but for the money we were hoping for a nicer space, with a better equipped kitchen, better lighting, more comfortable kitchen and TV room seating.

Lovely property-fully equipped with everything we needed.

We enjoyed the space and solitude. The wildlife, hot tub and great A/C were greatly appreciated. The location was good and we enjoyed the entire Hood River and Mt. Hood areas.

Sweet spot close to everything

Our family of three had a great stay. Not only is the property beautiful, but it's a great launching-off point to restaurants, hikes, wineries, and float spots. Would absolutely return.
