From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to write this review it's very much appreciated. So glad you enjoyed your stay, hope to have you back".
We used this as a launching point for 3 days at Yosemite. It only takes about 30min to get to the park entrance (another 30min to Yosemite valley). The home was very comfortable and nice. The beds were comfy, coffee supplies available, and it was super helpful to be able to wash our clothes. The kids loved the ping pong and video games in the garage. Used the hot tub once and it worked well.

From the owner: "Trenton, thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay, and we hope you return."
We were here at the very beginning of the new year. The community around here is very quite this time of the year. The house was good and comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub. Overall we had a good time.
My family of 4 had a wonderful relaxing weekend here. My kids (age 8 and 11) enjoyed the pac man game and ping pong tables in the garage. The beds were very comfortable. The house is very inviting and equipped with everything you might need. We also enjoyed the nice sitting area in the backyard. You are few minutes drive to the lake and the temperature of the lake was awesome. It was quite a hot weekend so we really enjoyed just floating in the water and relaxing. I would stay here again!

PERFECT!
Highly recommend!! As soon as we opened the door to this beautiful house we knew we made the right decision to stay here. It has an amazing feeling of home! It is nicely decorated, the furniture and beds are super comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked...and we enjoyed dinners outside the entire week, played cards under the stars and then soaked in the hot tub before bed! BONUS: big copper mugs in the freezer for that perfect evening cocktail! :) We will absolutely stay here again!

From the owner: "We’re very happy you enjoyed your stay and we can’t wait to have you back!"
We stayed at this property on a recent visit to Yosemite. Location was only 30 minutes to the park entrance then to get to Yosemite Valley another 30 minutes. The gated community had lots of wildlife and it was a mile or so drive if you wanted to see the lake. Host was very responsive and gave detailed information. The house was was clean and coffee and basic needs supplied. The outside sitting area and hot tub area needs to be cleaned and updated. We did not use the hottub. But overall the the place suited ourneeds for traveling.

Great stay!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property! After the initial check in at the main gate we loved the easy access of being right inside the gate entrance at the rear of the community. We chose the property because we were planning to spend a lot of time in Yosemite and while the drive to park entrance was longer than staying in Yosemite Valley it was worth it for the peace and quiet. Fourth of July weekend in the Valley was super crowded. That being said we drove to the park early in the morning each day to avoid the 1-2 hour line of traffic entering the park by late morning. The house was perfect for us. Tina was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and well stocked with necessities. There were deer hanging out in the yard almost every day at some point. We didn’t get to take advantage of the lake, but we did drive to the beach area one afternoon and it looked beautiful. If we would have had more time we would have spent a day hanging at the beach as well. Mar-Val is a great grocery store right down the road and we recommend the milkshakes at the Hungry Bear cafe, the pizzas at Two Guys Pizza Pies, and the food at The Grill at Pine Mountain Lake!

From the owner: "We are so pleased you had a great stay, we hope to have you back."
Overall the house was very clean (more about this to come), comfortable, and well-provisioned. The electric fireplace was a nice touch, as was the wood burning fireplace (although rather smokey to get started, so be prepared to open doors). The instructions could be updated to more clearly explain how to turn on the hot tub and heater, but the hosts were available to explain via phone/text. The one problem, which caused me to lower my rating, was the hot tub sanitation...black mold all over the filter compartment, nothing in the sanitizing floater, and the water smelled bad (and that's saying a lot for what is normally wonderful mountain water). We didn't see the mold and all until late the second day, so couldn't notify the hosts until the next day...told them I'd appreciate a partial refund as the hot tub was a main reason I booked their house. I got a response the next day that they'd try to get a technician out to fix things. I declined as we didn't want to see a worker while on our last day of vacation...pretty much wouldn't get to use it anyway. I haven't heard back from the hosts about a partial refund.
Start with the good - the hosts were great, super responsive. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The neighborhood is nice, great restaurant at the golf club house.
The not as good - We had some slight issues with the hot tub shorting out, the a/c on the fritz and small sugar ants.
Fantastic, well-stocked, inviting home with great amenities
If you are like me and you obsessively read reviews before booking a place, here are some details about this house that might be helpful. It is VERY tastefully updated and decorated in modern farmhouse style. We love the fact that the kitchen was well-stocked with basics like salt and pepper, and also with oil, spices, baking sheets, bread pan, etc. There were also napkins, which is virtually unheard of in a rental. Those things made it so much easier to cook and made us feel like we were in a home and not a bare-bones rental. (We also appreciated having quality products like Mrs. Meyers for washing the dishes.) The hot tub was great, and we enjoyed sitting in it listening to the turkeys running through the neighborhood. The road was quiet and the neighbors were quiet. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were pretty, the towels were big, soft, and fluffy, and there were full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were super-soft throw blankets everywhere which was a very nice, cozy, inviting touch. My teenaged kids loved the ping-pong table and the Pac-Man machine in the garage. The lamps in the bedroom had USB plug-ins at their base, which was a great touch. I spent a lot of time reading reviews before I booked this house, and I’m really glad we chose this one. I would book it again in a heartbeat.
