Right beside one of the best fishing holes on the Buffalo River and only a 5 minute drive to Lake Buffalo, this property is a must stay location for fisherman and water enthusiasts alike. Set in a quiet location, this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home can accommodate up to 6 guests and has everything you need for a last minute weekend away or a week long holiday. The home has all the creature comforts of floor heating and air conditioning along with a large timber kitchen and electric oven to cook up your “catch of the day”. Along with built in robes in all bedrooms, bath and separate shower in bathroom and a good size laundry. The township of Myrtleford is a 15 minute drive or make a day trip visiting surrounding towns of Beechworth, Bright and Milawa. Pack a picnic and head to Lake Buffalo where you can water ski, tube, swim or just kick back and enjoy the views of Mount Buffalo. This home is the ideal escape and perfect for exploring all that Myrtleford and the North East have to offer.

Enjoyed the stay even in the beginning with some difficulties

The house has problem with water. The manager is very helpful and the issue was solved the next day. Overall, we did enjoy the place. Much appreciated for the manager, Pauline's help.

Not what it should have been.

Use caution when renting this property. The managing agent was prompt and polite considering we were very unhappy. It wasn’t clean, I sent some images to the agent. we had to change light bulbs upon late arrival. Couldn’t find the remote. No instructions that we could find. Supposedly had wifi but we didn’t. Then some people show up with the wifi dongle 2 days into our stay, not sure why they had it. Toaster half works. We wanted to leave early, got a refund for the 1 day we left but no discount for all the other problems. Over priced and just not nice, not even a coffee table to put a drink on in the lounge.

Peaceful location for 2 families!

We had a lovely stay at Buffalo River Getaway! We shared the property with another family and we were able to sleep 8 people comfortably. Spacious and cosy at the same time. Backyard space was a hit for the kids! Wifi/internet wasn’t always available, which was great for the kids - it kept them off their iPads/tablets! Thanks for having us! :)

Basic but peaceful

Minimal and basic on offer within the house but we had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Amenities listing states “sauna, spa and indoors pool “ but could not find them but did find a bath. No wood heater to enjoy the creature comforts ,as per listing ,but there was a small fire pit outside , BYO wood. No internet or mobile phone reception. Has a smart television but with no internet it is just a a T.V. In floor heating was fantastic and keep the whole house nice a cozy. The beds are suitable and there was plenty of bedding .
