Our stay was very relaxing. The house was decorated beautifully, very comfortable, and close to everything we wanted visit. The only thing that I didn’t like was that you had to take your own trash, especially when you pay a cleaning fee, and the beds were uncomfortable. We appreciate the host letting us stay. We enjoyed our trip.

Very quaint and roomy!

Perfect proximity to trails for off roading. The house is very roomy and well equipped with everything you need. Very clean and well kept. Would have liked to had at least a queen sized bed in the master suite. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Plan to stay there again in the future.

Clean but lacking a few details

This rental is a clean and well-maintained double wide on a quiet county lot in the woods. The setting is beautiful and 20-30 minutes from a number of state parks. The house is comfortable, but the master bedroom has no blinds on the big windows that face the road, and the nonstick pots are so scratched and damaged that I didn't think it was safe to use them. Other than that, though, we enjoyed our stay.

Mountaintop Retreat

This cabin sits at about 3000 feet in elevation on the backside of a mountain at the edge of a state forest. There is one neighbor (at a good distance) on either side, but enough distance that you have privacy. The home was clean with excellent Christian elements that I found comforting and inviting. My wife and I felt comfortable instantly. You are out in the woods and that back porch is good for a couple to a few people! There is seating back there and the whole house is ready for you besides groceries. Easy to visit several state parks in MD or PA/WV. Visit Oakland/Deep Creek in 8-15min when weather is good. Doordash is available!! Plan your "trash out" in advance, as it's the only minor inconvenience. We will be coming back!

The owner was very flexible, positive, and responsive. The home is clean and well decorated with an authentic visit to grandma’s vibe. The house is well stocked with all the basics and then some. Beautiful hiking 5 minutes away. The pet friendly option was a huge bonus for us and I didn’t notice any issues from prior pet guests. The back deck is beautiful, but the view is obscured by the large shed and defunct water feature/pond. The owners suite only has a double bed and it sags in the middle. The photos are accurate, but do not fully reflect the double-wide, manufactured home type of construction. Additionally, almost none of the 5 acres are very useable because of the dense woods beginning immediately behind the back deck. I did not like having to strip the beds, gather the towels, empty all the trash bins, and haul all trash away from the property. All in all, it was a positive experience.
