A wonderful holiday @ Shelly Beach Retreat

Shelly Beach Retreat was immaculately presented, in a wonderful location, spacious and beautifully appointed. We stayed with my parents, two teen children, and our little dog Molly. The extra special touches were just lovely - a welcome basket, dog treats, water and feed bowls, boogie boards, even a frisbee! We spotted koalas, kangaroos, and even a bush turkey. The best burgers are only a 50 metre walk away, and Shelly Beach itself was only a short stroll across the road and down the rainforest walkway. Such a lovely way to spend the school holidays. Absolutely recommended!

Perfect beach house

The house had literally everything we needed and it was super clean and well maintained. The whole family loved it and our dog loved watching the world from the back deck. The location was great, walking distance to Shelly Beach, and really close to Lighthouse Beach which is super dog-friendly. Plus, one of my favourite cafes, Sea Acres, was a 5min walk from the house. Plus, Katie was an absolute superstar. So easy to deal with and very responsive. Thank you!

Stellar!

This home is perfect! We were a family of 3 adults exploring Australia and visiting some friends in Port Macquarie. The home was spotless and Katie provided several unexpected extras that were a nice touch. There was a Koala in the trees behind the house which was awesome for us Canadians to see. Beaches were within walking distance or short drives. Katie was quick to despond to our questions. We can’t say enough about how great our visit was. Just perfect! Thank you for sharing your home with us. Highly recommended!!

Perfect holiday house, especially if you have a dog

This is a lovely house: modern and comfortable, all very clean and in a great location. The hosts have thought of everything their guests could need -- books, games, boogie boards, kitchen utensils, pantry staples, and there was even a lovely welcome basket of tea, coffee and chocolates. Great backyard and deck area, all fenced so it was perfect for our dog. We really appreciated being able to stay somewhere so lovely where our dog was welcome too. Thanks, Katie! We will be back!

Great place to stay - home from home

We had a lovely stay at this property - could not have felt more at home. The house is lovely and well kept - the provisions that were provided were an excellent and unexpected delight. 10 minute walk to Shelly Beach and Harry's Lookout made for a great dog walk each morning. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at this comfortable house. There was almost nothing lacking - we played board games and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit. We even saw a koala in our front yard. We would definitely stay again

Superb

Super clean, spacious and well located holiday home. The owners communicated in advance with details of the house and local attractions, and every attention to detail was evident in the comfortable modern easy-living home. Great access to beaches and the fabulous coastal walking trail, with heaps of great restaurant options and supermarkets within 10 minutes drive. Our family and dog had a wonderful holiday, we highly recommend this home as a base to explore Port Macquarie and surrounds and to relax in comfort, even on occasional cold wet days. It's well supplied with a welcome basket of treats, coffee machine, huge smart TV, Wi-fi, jigsaws, books and board games in the cupboards, spare boogie boards and plenty of cushions and throw rugs in the lounge room, as well as comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. Perfect for all families and pets.

Great place to stay

We had a awesome stay, the house was extremely comfortable, clean and pet friendly. Great location - short walk to the beach, shops and other attractions. Would thoroughly recommend spending time here.

Stunning goreous home and great location!

Katie is such a lovely and kind host as she provides amazing hospitality. The house is so clean, spacious, and spotless, it was so comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Our family loved our little weekend trip staying at this beautiful home. Location is very convenient, close to the beach and shops. We highly recommend this place 10/10.
