Rental could use some care
We booked a 5 night stay but left after 3 nights. The home itself was superficially clean but under the kitchen table and under other furniture not clean. Carpet in bedrooms with old stains. Ceilings had old water and leak stains. There were ants on the kitchen counters near the toaster and coffee maker also in the bathroom. With more care the rental could be so nice. Outside is overgrown with weeds and shrubs and uncomfortable to take our dog out. Windows were covered with dead bugs. The water view is pretty but not swimmable, rocks and algae. If you do chose to go, bring bug spray. Looks like it was well loved at one time but now just doing the minimum.

Rustic getaway
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great visit on the Leelanau peninsula. The cottage is very remote but has all the amenities you need. A beautiful spot on Grand Traverse Bay. Close to Leelanau State Park and very private. We can’t wait to visit again!

Nice location, but not well maintained
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was in a great location, and there was lots of room to roam. However, the house itself was very disappointing. The house had an old, musty odor to it, the furniture was very beat-up and uncomfortable, the front door was difficult to open, the microwave was a few decades old, and the roof was leaking in the screened-in porch, among other things. It's clear this house is not well-maintained and I'm surprised it continues to be used as a rental. We are usually satisfied with rentals managed by this company, so we were surprised by the state of this one.
