Located at the entrance of the Douro River and its Valleys, our villa is a nest for calm and sun. Enjoy a lunch under the hazels trees canopies and diner on the main terrace by the house. Of course the all day could be dedicated to the pool area, lying down under the olive trees. But there are plenty of seeing around from middle castle, to …grottes, to hikes or of course wine tasting in the Douro wineries. If you like to relax and perhaps stay home, you will have all the comfort needed with a main living room and a rich library with books in english, french and portuguese, games. There is also a second living room on the 1 st floor for a quieter time, a nap maybe. Did I mention the kitchen? It is the biggest room in the house, very typical in Portugal, and should not it be always like this.
