About this property
Jack's Bach - close to ski fields & golf
Jack's Bach is a tastefully appointed 2 bedroom 1 bathroom property in Jacks Point, Queenstown.
It is the perfect spot if you are a small group looking for somewhere to stay that has your own space and kitchen rather than staying in a hotel. It is the perfect base for those wishing to go fishing, golfing, skiing, biking, hiking, hunting or if you have family in Jacks Point and wish to stay close by.
Someone from The Butler is just a phone call away.
Originally farmland the Jacks Point Estate has been developed trying to keep the 3,000 acres in harmony with their original surroundings. From the planting of native fauna to the design of the houses this estate was 15 years in the planning.
Jacks Point is home to the acclaimed 18 hole Championship Golf Course, it has extensive mountain bike and walking trails, tennis courts, playground, sports fields and not to forget the Clubhouse and Restaurant which sit on the picturesque Lake Tewa which is also available for fly fishing. Here in Jacks Point we embrace the lifestyle and enjoy nature.
Guests have full access to the property except for a locked cupboard in the downstairs bedroom.
The property is set out over two levels. Downstairs you have the carpeted garage, laundry & guest bedroom. Upstairs is your master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining and living area.
You have views of the stunning Remarkable mountains and out towards Jacks Point Championship Golf Course from many areas of the house.
The house is tastefully decorated with lots of artwork on the walls and the owners have added all those extra little things that help make your stay more comfortable from quality beds to fully equipped kitchen - you won't want to leave!
The house is set to the rear of a large block of land with the front section available for you to sit and enjoy the uninterrupted views - maybe sit back in one of the deck chairs and enjoy some local wine & cheese while watching the sun go down - blissful.
The heat pump/air conditioner keeps the house lovely and warm but we also have heaters in the bedrooms and possum skin blankets for you to snuggle up under.
The garage is carpeted to help with the warmth and has storage racks for your fishing rods and skis.
It is recommended you have a car but not essential as there is a public bus that runs from Jack Point every hour.
We are approx 10 minutes from the airport and the Frankton shopping district. Less than 5 minutes to the bottom carpark to The Remarkables Ski field and only 20 minutes into downtown Queenstown. (all times are subject to traffic)
If travelling with small children you do need to supervise them on stairs. Please note the property is not fenced.
Cot & highchair not included at this house but they are available for hire - please enquire if needed.
