An outstanding cottage on a Great Lake with a lovely beach area for the kids to play at. The property exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend this listing.

The cottage was very nice. The lake is great. The only downside was bringing my own sheets and towels. When there are so many bedrooms and people coming it took up a lot of space in the car. I also had to make sure I had the right size sheets and both inside bath towels and beach towels. Quite a pain when you are paying so much money.

We had a wonderful week at Vista Lakehouse. It was easy to check-in and found the kitchen well appointed and well stocked. The open layout of kitchen, dining and great room facilitated conversation and togetherness, The lower level was comfortable and had lots of activities for our children! The outdoor patio off the dining room was spacious and had three separate areas for privacy and different groupings of people. The outdoor area going down to the water was very pretty with stone walkway and firepit surrounded by Muskoka chairs. The view to the water was quite close from the cottage and so we felt our orientation was toward the water, surrounded by Birch and Oak trees.
