A beautiful stay
Beautiful space - very clean and lovely furnishings. The bed was super comfy - it had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Loved having brekki outdoors in the morning. The milk in the milk jug appeared to have split, but the other breakfast items provided were lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The unit was very clean and the owners could not have been more helpful. The comny booking process was bad. The owner got notice and we coud hav ebeen stuck if not for the owners moving fast, The unit it spotess and the breakfast fine. The bed great and the balcony sits above an open paddock. Nil road noise unlike many other places. Hard to find because Stay were hopeless and not the owner. I would stay again.

Peaceful? You are barking up the wrong tree.
Wanted quiet. Made this clear. Upon arrival there was continuous noise from adjacent Bob cat from about 2 until 4pm. On at about 5 until 10:30 pm the neighbours noisy barked loudly & regularly & prevented us from enjoying outdoor dinner. Then prevented my partner from sleeping from 8pm (we had to get up at 5:30 am next morning for plane). Also the milk, juice and yoghurt provided was all past use by date! Nice man Peter, nice place but minimal peace & quiet. Unfortunately peace & quiet was top of our list.

About the host

Host profile image
Christine, is the main "mover and shaker" in our little Studio. Prior to retiring Christine was Principal of Melbourne Girls Grammar school (she has been involved with education since 1964) . She still teaches on a temporary basis as she loves the sense of being with, and guiding, young people. She combines this passion with being a Grandmother and a Voluntary Guide at the Art Gallery of Sth Australia. She is, and always has been, a busy and committed person.
Peter is a retired Cherry Farmer (here at Echunga) and prior to that a retired Magistrate. he does the computer side of the studio and handles the bookings. He is interested in Cheese making, Brewing, Carpentry and riding his motor bike as well as involvement with 3 sons and 8 grandchildren.

We both enjoy travelling and over the years have visited many overseas countries and many places in Australia and have made lasting friend and acquaintances in all sorts of places. When travelling make a point ion staying at privately operated studios/apartments and this has helped us immensely in setting up our own studio acommodation.
We both enjoy welcoming guests to our studio and are always keen to make sure that their experience is excellent.
We (mainly Peter) will always, if asked, offer assistance and advice of where to go and what to see here in the Adelaide Hills and indeed in South Australia. We have seen all of the state and can suggest many special spots for you to see and venues to visit, if you ask us.
