Picturesque 1 bedroom cottage set in the premium wine region of the Adelaide Hills. Located within an easy 5 minute drive of the historic town of Hahndorf and the famous Adelaide Hills wineries like Shaw & Smith, Nepenthe etc. The idyllic weekender for that relaxing break from busy city life.
Cosy bedroom with Queen size bed and small lounge area, separate kitchen and bathroom. Continental breakfast provided. All linen, tea, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee maker facilities provided. NOTE: Please watch out for kangaroos along the road and driveway of the property

We have a fantastic stay. Beautifully presented accomodation in a picture perfect setting. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the hosts had thought of every detail. A great place to stay, would recommend.

Ideal Getaway to the Adelaide Hills

Beautiful self contained little cottage in the countryside yet still only a short drive to Handorf, beautiful wineries or many other things to do and see. Our hosts were very friendly and close by to help if we needed anything. Perfect getaway for us.

Relaxing stay so quiet

Relaxing stay in a working vineyard and farm in wonderful gardens. Conveniently close to Hahndorf and Hans Heysen studio. Neat little house with all the mod cons and a delightful breakfast too!

Peace and tranquility at its best !!

Loved our stay at the cottage, everything was spotless on our arrival with all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay. Chris & Maryanne are wonderful hosts and a lovely touch they introduced themselves to us shortly after our arrival. The location is fantastic too being only as short drive, or 45 minute walk into Hahndorf itself.

Awesome mid point stop

What a beautiful intimate cabin. Perfect stop point for us midway through our journey from Perth to Tasmania. We relaxed and caught our breath. Thank you for the wonderful treats waiting for us.

Exactly what you need for a weekend getaway to the Hills. Maryanne was a fantastic host. The fire was an added bonus, remember to bring marshmellows. Simon Tolley was the pick of the wineries we visited. The location of the hut was excellent, highly recommend.

Short Stay

A little Awkward at the start as the first person we came in to contact with didn't know why we were there. Then weet Maryanne who was very welcoming and accomidating, allowed for the second car to stay at the property which made things a lot easier for us. Interior was nice and neat peefect for a few days away. There was a slight buzzing noise every 20 seconds or so that came from a garden appliance outside the hut, made for a restless furst night but after that you ignore it, but i was always buzzing away in the background. Great location that was quiet and central to everything we needed. Would stay again if in the area.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this quaint and beautifully maintained cottage. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more special. We couldn’t have asked for more and would love to return soon. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a four day get away here in the Adelaide Hills wine country. Wonderful spot & hosts. Helpful but respectfully distant. Room to roam on adjoining property & vineyard. Easy access to Hahndorf & other local attractions. Cozy accommodations & outside sitting area. Practically perfect in every way!

Gorgeous getaway

We loved our two nights at the cosy Winemakers Hut. Tastefully decorated with everything you need for a lovely relaxing getaway. An easy drive into Hahndorf and access to the surrounding wineries. We briefly met our charming hosts who couldn’t have been more amenable. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Winemakers Hut - perfect for our needs as we were in the Hills for a wedding and knew that we would not be there much. Very comfortable though with everything we needed for our stay.

accommodation for UKARIA concerts

Wonderfully thought out cottage, compact but with everything you need, and orderly with it. Aesthetically pleasing as well, and set in manicured lawn and tree gardens. Wineries excellent food nearby, so what’s not to love?
