What an absolute pleasure to stay in such an immaculate home, the views are to die for, the off the grid experience was unbeatable, we will 100 % be staying again, Sasha the host was great with all her communication thanks again.
The house and views were awesome. I think we picked the coldest, and wettest weekend ever, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked. The living area was still cold even with the fire going, but like i said, we had a very cold and wet weekend. A very lovely and clean house and a lovely stay.
We had such a wonderful experience here, beautiful house and view, loved the animals. Very cold, it was hard to warm up the house with the wet firewood but otherwise the perfect place to stay!!

Nice relaxing getaway
Nicely presented property. Great communication from owners. Short drive to surrounding towns, wineries etc
What a fantastic place to stay and get ready for my wedding. I loved the open fireplace and natural lighting from the high windows.
So relaxing and enjoyable, cant wait to come back and enjoy the peace and view
Will stay again when u come to SA next trip.Host, Sasha, is very nice and helpful, always provides the prompt reply. Thx for hosting us and we enjoyed our trip!
The views from this property are stunning. The weather was perfect, we were able to sit back and relax in front of the outdoor firepit, with a glass of wine. The neighbouring cows were very cute and friendly. This was a great way to enjoy my 50th birthday.
This was a great getaway for a weekend with friends. Very peaceful and away from others including the hustle and bustle of main roads. Location is perfect. Super cold in Winter so pack warm but the indoor and outdoor fires were perfect. Perfect size with 3 bed, 3 bath meant that you could have your own space whilst being away with a group.
My husband and I stayed here for our 20 year wedding anniversary. Views were lovely and the house was fantastic - very peaceful and quiet. No issues with being off grid, I think it is great and would love to see more houses built like this. The open fireplace in the main lounge was a big plus.
Nice peaceful setting, great house for 3 couples. Good fire place with wood supplied for colder weather, however with the house being off grid there are restrictions on the use of the air conditioner which could be .Handy central location, easy drive to Barossa area, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale.Lovely peaceful setting and with 3 bed & 3 bath, was great for 3 couples.Well appointed kitchen. Fireplace with wood supplied.Only downside was no BBQ.
Great house as we could all have our own room and bathroom. The off grid concerned us a little but once you are there its not as bad as you would think - we managed to keep the fires burning and didn't run out of power or hot water!
My husband and I stayed at Bella Vista over the Easter break as a mini honeymoon after our wedding in February. It was such a beautiful home surrounded by the hill side and some cheeky cows and alpacas. The open fire place is stunning and was so relaxing to sit by with a good book.
The facilities were modern and everything was easy to use. I would definitely recommend staying here, we can’t wait to go back with a few friends.
Bella Vista Farm house is a lovely home tucked away in Mount Torrens. Surrounded by farms with cows, sheep and llama's, its a 1hr drive from the city and a 45 minute drive to Wolf Blass and Maggie Beer Farm. The fire place was great as we sat on the lounge watching tv while drinking local wine & eating locally made cheese. We had a great time away and will be sure to come back soon.
Great property for lots of adults to enjoy this beautiful region of ADELAIDE, although it's a long drive to anywhere (50 Min). We could have used some wardrobe space or places to put our clothes so we weren't living out of a suitcase and it would have been nice to have had some extra pantry items and have some pantry space at a work height. The best thing was the beautiful quality furniture and amazing outlooks.
Bella Vista Farmhouse was a beautiful location for a group of friends to gather for a weekend together. The breakfast provisions were absolutely delicious - so much so that we headed to Emma & Ivy cafe for lunch (again... delish!). The beds were so comfy and having a bathroom for each bedroom was a real treat!
We happened to be there on a still, warm weekend and without aircon available in March at the property it was a little warm - had there been a breeze in the evening it would have been a lot more comfortable. The views are just spectacular and the location is great with so much to see and do in the Adelaide Hills. A great little getaway for the girls!
Beautiful panoramic property. Large house very high ceilings polished concrete floors. Think better suited to summer/ warm weather stays. Mid May was quite cold for us although once combustion heating fired up was ok. Suit a group of 3 couples for 2-3 days or longer. We were attending a celebration very nearby so Owner kindly allowed us a one night stay, normally has a min 2 night stay. Good kitchen & bathrooms, 2 living areas & lots of movies/books etc. A well managed property being totally off grid. Well worth the experience.
What an amazing 5 nights away at Bella Vista Farmhouse!
The property is beautiful and the photos honestly don’t do it justice. From the moment we walked in the door we felt instantly relaxed and couldn’t get over the stunning 360° views. Every morning we were greeted at the fence by the friendly cows and alpacas which added to the whole experience.
Bella Vista Farmhouse had everything we needed for a stress free getaway. It was so nice to spend the day at some of the local wineries and then come back to the beautiful property and watch the sunset over the Adelaide Hills either outside by the fire pit or inside next to the amazing open fireplace!
Communication with Sasha was so quick and easy. Such a wonderful host!
We can not recommend Bella Vista Farmhouse enough and are already looking at dates to book again!
Thank you Sasha and Eric for having us in your incredible home!

Absolutely stunning views and a beautiful experience - the house is lovely. Really enjoyed our time as a family - an absolute gem of the Adelaide Hills.
Booked here for my wife's 30th birthday for a weekend away. Host was kind enough to let me have family visit to celebrate her birthday. Such a fantastic place with great scenery around. Was kept cosy and warm with the fireplace in the living area. We all had a great time here and would definitely recommend to everyone!
