Welcome to William by the Water!

This newly-listed and just-renovated, three-bedroom, one bath cottage, in a family-friendly neighbourhood just 5 minutes north of Grand Bend, is in the perfect location, and comes equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

In the Summer you can nip down to the private, community beach (there are 40 steps, safe & solid, see photos) to spend the day lounging in the sun (beach chairs and sand toys provided!), swimming out to the sandbar in the clean, fresh waters of Lake Huron, or enjoying one of Ontario's best sunsets.

No matter the time of year, the cottage is the perfect place to enjoy a walk along the beach in search of drifted treasure, to relax in the backyard sipping cocktails on the deck, playing lawn games, reading in the hammock or swinging in the shade trees.

In the Spring & Fall the cottage is a great spot to play guitar by the campfire, cozy up with a good book by one of the two indoor fireplaces, bake in the chef's kitchen, play the day away in the game room (ping pong, board games, card games, big screen tv), do cottage crafts or go for a hike to enjoy the scenery and fresh air.

When the snow flies the cottage is a great home base for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, birdwatching and photography of the amazing shoreline ice drifts.

Year-round, there's so much to do in the area! Check out the fantastic restaurants, craft breweries & wineries, Huron Country Playhouse theatre, golf courses, antique stores, flea markets, the Pinery Provincial Park and the quaint little shops in Grand Bend and nearby Bayfield.

The cottage has parking right at the front door, free wifi, plenty of quiet space to work remotely (if you must!), comfortable furniture, plus a chef's kitchen with brand new appliances, all to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. Sorry, no pets.

The cottage is a fantastic spot for a weekend getaway. It was clean, and comfortable. Nice surprise that the bbq was hooked up to gas so no propane needed. Kyla & Paul were quick to respond and helpful. Can't wait to plan a future weekend at their place!

Loved the house and the private beach!!. My only suggestion would be a few pans that would accommodate the 6 person max. (Like a hot plate or skillet for breakfast cooking)

We're of loving family with 3 beautiful girls who absolutely love the beach, the sun and swimming from sun up to sun down. For years we have enjoyed a family cottage on Lake Huron. We purchased this cottage and renovated it, top to bottom. It's our little piece of paradise. We love to travel the world and so have decided to share our home away from home so that other wonderful families can also enjoy a little lake life.

We love the neighbourhood. All of the neighbours pitch in to make sure that the community is well-maintained, safe and pretty. And we've added everything to the cottage to make it comfortable and fun for your family (ours too!)

The cottage has a gorgeous private, community beach. And it's super close to the amenities of the main drag in Grand Bend but away from the crazy crowds in the summer season.
