About this property

Modern Villa close to Coronet ski field

Summary

Modern 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property in Arthurs Point with views to Coronet Peak and surrounding mountains. The perfect place to base yourself whether skiing, biking, hiking, golfing or exploring the outer areas of Queenstown. Just minutes from the Coronet Peak Ski Field

Interaction

Someone from The Butler is just a phone call away if required.

Neighborhood

Shotover Villa is located in the Arthurs Point area.
"Arthurs Point is a northern suburb of Queenstown, one often missed by many who visit the region. Nestled along the shores of the Shotover River, amongst the hills and forestry of surrounding Queenstown Hill and Bowen Peak, Arthurs Point is about a 5 minute drive from central Queenstown, but a world away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Here you can relax amongst the beautiful scenery, walk the local tracks and bask in the beauty of alpine living." Love New Zealand

Access

Guests have access to the whole property excluding 2 locked cupboards in the garage.

Space

As you open the door to enter Shotover Villa you have the Master bedroom with ensuite to your right and bedrooms 2 & 3 to your left. At the end of the hallway is the 2nd bathroom which you can also access via Bedroom 3. Bedrooms 2 has a single bed and the option of a trundle bed upon request as well. This room boasts a balcony with views to the mountains. Bedroom 3 has 2 singles which can be joined to make a King upon request and has a large window so you can lie in bed and enjoy the view. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed with its own ensuite. This room has access to the courtyard.

As you wind your way upstairs the stairway opens to the living, dining & lounge area which once again have spectacular mountain views and a balcony on which to enjoy them. There is also a laundry and additional toilet on this level. The house has recently been renovated and the owner has tastefully decorated it with the artwork on the walls bringing nature to you. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, electric oven, gas cooktop, fridge, slow cooker & of course the most important coffee machine! It's not often I find I enjoy standing at the kitchen sink but the views here make it worthwhile - especially if you are enjoying a glass of wine from one of our many vineyards in the area. The lounge has comfortable couches and chairs to sit around the gas fire or watch TV. Our garage has a power point in it if you need to charge your electric vehicle/mountain bike or golf buggy.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was warm and comfortable. The location isn't too far from town centre. The townhouse that we were in was a rear unit and has a few steps to walk up to the property. The walkway up to the property can get really dark at night. There seemed to have a few lights but they were not working properly. That aside, it is a nice place to stay.

We will be back

Easy access to the mountain. A lovely place to stay. Like our own private retreat. Found good things to do in Arthur's Point; Onsen Pools, Cargo Gantley's Pub, and a five minute drive into Queenstown. Highly recommend this house.

Fantastic house in a great location

This property was STUNNING! So much room for everyone and plenty of heating for the cold NZ days. Deborah was easy to chat with, incredibly communicative, and gave such helpful advice on taxis, in house massages, where to get the bus from etc. the bus stop is just down the road and comes every 30 minutes. $2 to jump on with the bus pass or cash. Convenient and reliable. Was a dream to get around. Garry (taxi driver) helped my husband get up to coronet peak on a day where there was black ice. And the in house massage recommended by Deborah… TO DIE FOR! I cannot wait to come back again. There are one million stairs but I considered this my daily workout haha. Thanks again Deb I loved Shotover Villa and I will 100% be back again soon!!
