Summary: Baan Sabai {baan sa-bai} is a tranquil oasis in the quiet and exclusive beachside haven of Angourie. This warm and inviting four bedroom home presides over the Yuraygir National Park, with sweeping views of the nature reserve and Angourie's Back Beach.
Baan Sabai is bathed in sunshine and swathed in warm timber hues. "Baan" means 'home' and "Sabai" means 'relaxed' in Thai and that is exactly why families love to escape to this generously appointed home.
The Space: From the moment you enter Baan Sabai you feel instantly at home. The property is warm and inviting and the timber features are characteristic of the coveted properties in this exclusive beach town.
The property enjoys vast, sweeping views of the Yuraygir National park and Angourie's Back Beach. You'll feel at peace in the environment as you watch wallabies bounce through the yard as the sun sets over the reserve. The ocean is ever present. You can feel it in the decor and see it in the distance. The ocean and the waves are always there, beckoning for you to put down your book and get lost in ocean one more time.
Baan Sabai is generously appointed and tastefully styled. The property boasts four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, multiple living areas and even a games room with ping pong table. There are plenty of sun-drenched corners to escape to for a quiet moment of reflection and a delightful loft on the third floor from which you can 'salute the sun' and glimpse out over Spookies Beach and along the coast to Yamba.
Baan Sabai is perfectly poised for family holidays with plenty of space and all the amenities you need. All linen is supplied; the kitchen and laundry are fully appointed; the Wifi is fast and unlimited, there are two Smart TVs, a family sized WeberQ BBQ and there's even a Nespresso machine.
The property straddles two main storeys with the kitchen, living, dining and veranda areas upstairs and the bedrooms, additional living space and games room with ping pong table on the ground floor. Our guests enjoy the outdoor shower and big backyard that nestles the National Park as well as the fully fenced garden with lawn out the front of the property.
Baan Sabai is a short, 5 minute walk to Spookies Beach, the blue and green pools and the township and restaurants of Angourie and a mere 8 minute drive to nearby Yamba.
This property has a strict policy of no parties, schoolies, pets or smoking and this is monitored closely.
Guest Access: We offer contactless check-in with a lock box on the premises.
The Neighborhood: The township of Angourie was built around one of the world's greatest surf beach breaks at Angourie Point. The town is tranquil and secluded and situated right on the Yuraygir National Park. The main street in town boasts a number of restaurants, the quality of which belie the town's mere population. Angourie is far enough away from the hustle of Yamba and yet close enough to enjoy the nearby amenities and restaurants.
Getting Around: Baan Sabai is a five minute walk to Spookies Beach, the blue and green pools, the park and Angourie's restaurants. Angourie is an 8 minute drive to the larger township of Yamba.
Other Things to Note: Please note that we have a strict policy of no pets, schoolies, parties, smoking, vaping or loud music. Please observe our local quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.

Baan Sabai is just fabulous. The calming and relaxing interiors and spaciousness are better than the photos and description online. The short walk to Spookys and the Point are easy. The coastal walk is epic. But the views over Yuragir NP to the beach are the best. Kristy was very helpful and communication fast and effective. We didn’t want to leave!
Wonderful property in an idyllic location. Bit pricey compared to similar properties in the area. Cleaning fees expensive also, yet there was dust in a lot of areas incl main guest room bookshelf above the bed. There was also dog or cat fur on the doona in the smaller bedroom overlooking the national park. The light in that bedroom didn't work either. Hope that helps, best wishes Jason and family
