I spent a week here with my family. Steve was wonderful with communication and the house was a perfect little lake getaway!!!!!! Will definitely book again!
Comfy beds, fluffy towels and awesome sunsets! The cottage had everything we needed for a very relaxing, but too short week. Any questions we had were answered promptly by hosts and they even gave us restaurant recommendations! Would stay there again.
Stayed in early May, weather was not the best but we took advantage of wood stove! Dock wasn’t in yet but plenty of boat launches close by! Has a beautiful view of lake Couchiching. Hosts were helpful and easy to get a hold of, would return for another fishing trip!

Cozy
Comfortable, very quiet during the week, private, lots of water toys, no motor boat! 🐕 friendly. (Should post in cottage hot water can be scalding) be careful!
This is a very relaxing rustic cottage to stay- 5 stars
We were very impressed with the cottage's roominess inside and all the outdoor space the property possesses. There is room on the large deck for eating/relaxing and enjoying a view of the boats on the lake. (Bring water shoes as there are rocks not sand) Closer to the water there is another set of chairs to enjoy the sunset in the evening complete with Loons. It is an easy access to Orillia and all the area's attractions. This was a wonderful place to stay in August.

Thanks for your kind words! The sunsets are amazing to enjoy. Water shoes are a great recommendation! We have little to no weeds in the water because it is a rocky bottom but water shoes are essential. We hope you enjoy the rest of the summer!
A summer of serenity: our delightful stay ate Steve and Linda's cottage
Our family enjoyed a month-long stay at Steve and Linda's cottage this summer and had an amazing time. The cottage is cozy, not luxurious by any means, but well equipped with everything necessary for quality time. The property is secluded, away from road noise, making it very quiet and peaceful. It's also close to town, so you can bike there if you're in the mood for some ice cream or fresh farm vegetables. The water is clear for swimming, and the private dock made accessing water activities easy. There are plenty of water toys and board games that kept our active family entertained and engaged. Checking in was simple, and Steve was very responsive to our messages. Overall, we had a wonderful month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage.
We spent a few nights at this cozy cottage in mid-Oct - weather wasn’t great - but the cottage was nice to relax and enjoy the beautiful view you get of the lake. Has everything you need, but it is rustic in a sense. WiFi was good, great TV and sound-bar. Satellite TV was sketchy, but we brought a streaming device and it worked out great. Kitchen is very small, only one electrical outlet so you have to get creative - we also brought a Ninja Foodie grill - anticipating the weather - so we could air-fry and grill. There’s one queen bed that is not good at all, but the other beds are fine and nice linens too. Host is quick to respond and very friendly. Definitely recommend for what we were looking for.
Booked the property for my adult children and grandchildren. Cottage is well stocked with everything you need; beds are comfortable with beautiful linen and lots of towels Owners were attentive and communicated quickly.
Lots of outdoor space with kayaks, paddle boats and a fire pit.
Water is shallow at the shore but a little rocky.
Would definitely recommend this cottage and plan to book again next summer!
Our host, Steve, answered my 6 emails promptly, before we had even checked in.
Upon arrival, the cabin was clean and welcoming.
The view... this cabin has the most beautiful view of the lake, and every sunset was spectacular.
I have never booked with VRBO before, and was a little apprehensive at first, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. Everything about this property was perfect.
