Beautiful farmstay at stylish, roomy converted Woolshed venue

This is a unique and affordable group accommodation and function and event venue in the Tararua region convenient to Wellington, Palmerston North, and the Hawkes Bay. Set on 570 acres of farmland and native bush with 15 km of trails, this is the perfect getaway for groups of family and friends or the ultimate spot to celebrate a special occastion.
With an amazing "Great Room" with a cozy woodburner for dining and lounging, a roomy Games room for pool, darts, fussball, and ping pong, expansive kitchen facilities, BBQ area, lots of beds with full bedding, and wonderful hot showers, this is the place to enjoy the comforts of home while experiencing a break away in the beautiful Tararua region.
There are plenty of day trips to be had - Waihi Falls, Aikitio Beach, the famous Pongaroa Hotel, Castlepoint - or just relax and enjoy the setting sun in the peacefulness of our farm.
Rates are for an “up to7” number but additional guests may be added for a per person charge up to max of 25

Fantastic Getaway

Amazing spot, set up for what could be a large school camp, but absolutely great for a group of adults also. The food warmer is a much needed addition, especially when cooking for so many people. The fully stocked kitchen really helped with that also. Great spot for a group hideaway, but do note it is in the middle of sprawling farmlands so don’t expect to pop down to the shops or go for a tiki tour easily during your stay.

Excellent farmstay and a place to create memories

Lovely place , away from the hustle of the city . A unique place in many ways , where kids create their own games apart from the plethora of board games and activities available. Didn’t have to go outside for anything , nice farm walks . Host was gracious enough to take the kids on the buggy ride around the farm which they loved to bits.
