Selena Lakefront Cottage

My wife, our newborn baby and small dog had an excellent stay at Selena Lakehouse. This was the best experience we have had renting a cottage/house. The pictures are completely accurate. The cottage is very clean, has great amenities including a fully stocked kitchen with quality pans/cooking utensils, nice soaps and good quality towels and sheets. The hosts haven’t missed any details. We will absolutely be back!

Selena Lakehouse, a gem

Friends and family had a lovely stay at Selena Lakehouse. What a beautiful location! The flat landscape, which is quite unusual for Muskoka, when combined with the wide open living space made it very accessible for all of our group. The kitchen was surprisingly well appointed with numerous spices, utensils, tools, and dishes for all of our meals. We had fun trying out all the water toys. Loved the campfire spot. Exactly what we were looking for.

This property is every bit as beautiful as the photos! It includes everything you need! The listing says it is wheelchair accessible, and unlike most listings which say this, this one almost is. We had our paralyzed dad here, with his power wheelchair, and all we needed was a few small ramps to get in and out of the cottage. The open concept main area, and flat lawn out to the dock, is perfect for anyone in this situation. The supplied firewood is a very nice touch as well, saving us from hauling our own in. The price is on the high side, and there is a zero refund cancelation policy, but you will get good value for what you pay for. Overall, an excellent experience!
