Situated right on Long Lake and mere steps from the premier four-season destination known as Kivi Park. Walk two minutes over to Kivi Park to take advantage of all the park amenities! Activities available at the park are plentiful and include hiking trails, walking paths, an amazing children’s playground, scenic running/jogging routes, mountain biking, fat biking, skating, canoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, basketball courts, ice rinks, and swimming at Crowley Lake. Equipment for most activities can be rented at the Kivi Park Chalet or you can bring your own.
This former small family home has been completely renovated right down to the studs to bring it new life as a short-term rental dwelling that exudes warmth and charm year-round. Two super comfy adjustable queen-size beds await as many as four of you after a long day of fun, sun, and adventure.
All brand new stainless steel appliances, a 65” TV in the main living area as well as smaller TVs in both bedrooms.
Traversing Long Lake right out back of the cottage is access to the main OFSC hub trail network for winter snowmobiling so this is a great spot to overnight on your next sledding trip! The trail is literally right out there on the lake! If ice fishing is your thing, bring your gear because there’s great ice fishing on Long Lake. Walleye, smallmouth bass, perch, and pike are the most prominent species from what I hear. We have lots of space for yard games as well as a fire pit to enjoy.
Guests have full reign of the house, yard, and waterfront. Feel free to swim in the water out back of the cottage, relax on the deck while taking in the beautiful lake view, or jump off the dock to cool off.
I’ll be available to guests for any kind of help or advice via cell phone by call/text. If needed, I’m also usually not far away. Self-check-in is primarily used here so our level of interaction will likely be low.
You’re five minutes to the south end of Sudbury where you’ll find fabulous shopping, golf courses, restaurants, an LCBO, the hospital, and Walmart. Drive a couple more minutes to check out the Superstack in Copper Cliff, the Big Nickel and everything mining related at Dynamic Earth, or give your mind a workout at Science North.

Cosy, clean and exactly what I was expecting. A perfect getaway spot for a couple or small family. Beautiful views, close to Kivi Park, and a close drive to everything.

Cute and cozy, super clean. Great location on the lake, and close to Kivi Park and Crowley Lake.
We loved our stay, the Cabin was fantastic and the setting is beautiful. It is close to the city and hiking trails just down the road. Highly recommended.
We had a really nice time. The cottage was very clean and modern. The lake is super close to the house and was so easy to access from the dock. Great spot all in all.
Great view of the lake which makes it special and relaxing. The outdoor is very well organized (table and chairs, firepit, kayak…) The cabin is small but cozy and nicely set up and equipped.

The cottage is cozy and beautifully decorated-everything you need is there.
The outdoor table in the picture has a propane fireplace in the center-loved it.
NOTE: if you are bringing a boat, the boat launch is VERY far away....the only downside to this great vacation.
The cottage was, and still is, VERY beautiful, with the house taking full advantage of the sunrise with a lakeside view. The host is very kind and considerate, a pleasure to communicate with and easy going! There's so much nature to see and explore while still being relatively close to the city; truly the best of both worlds. The sound system to the tv, the kitchen area and, the board games that are there for use is the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone!
Property as advertised, very clean and everything is brand new. Great location close to town if you need anything, shallow water for kids. Perfect for 2 people, tight with 4; good thing it didn’t rain, would have been a bit cramped. But we knew this going in. All in all, great cottage. Thanks again
