Beautiful, peaceful place with stunning views and sunsets. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Cottage has everything you need and it was great that the dogs were allowed to stay too.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was super warm and cosy with the open fire, and the deck overlooking the countryside and mountains was gorgeous. We were grateful that our fur baby was welcome and so much room for her to run around. Thank you to the wonderful hosts.

Easy drive to water pools from this spot. Charming space with plenty of views of the beautiful skyline for star gazers and day dreamers. Lots of space for the dog to run around as well. Highly recommended.
My family (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and dog) stayed at this gorgeous little Briagolong cabin for four nights over New Years 2022/23. Hana and Alex couldn’t have been nicer to deal with and were very quick to answer any questions we had about the cabin. The view from the front porch, over the lawn and huge dam, was stunning. Our super energetic dog thought he’d died and gone to heaven as soon as he jumped out of the car. For a cabin that runs on solar it’s really well-equipped and the space is thoughtfully designed. We can’t wait to come back in the colder months and sit by the fire.
Briagolong was a great location to have a few nights away heaps of interesting day trips to have and the local pub has great meals. The little house has everything we needed and was very comfortable. The chook house was great for the kids and for our non-country dogs to have exposure to.
We took our family dogs with us as it is a pet-friendly property but unfortunately, there is incomplete fencing around the accommodation it is also within 100m of the owners' property and in clear sight and our dogs would have spent the entire stay trying to say hello to their yarded dogs. The dogs loved having a good run around but we couldn't fully relax, always having to be aware that they weren't running off into the bush! They had to spend more time inside than they normally would because of this.

Thanks so much for your review and feedback. We absolutely understand that it can be difficult that the yard isn't secure, especially when they aren't used to being on a country property - we are working towards putting in new fencing that will allow for a secure yard for dogs. Thanks for staying :)

First of all, welcome to Amac Plains. We have lived on this property for the past 7 years and have felt so lucky to call it home. We used to live in this little cabin with our kids before we moved into the second house on the property. We will not disturb you during your stay, but if you need me at all I am available via text message for any queries.
We do have dogs as well, but they will be kept away at all times. We have pens for our dogs, or they will be with us. You will not need to worry about our dogs interrupting your stay or interfering with your own pets.
You are more than welcome to wander around the property, there is approximately 60 acres of bushland to explore to the right of the cabin. We do ask that you avoid the bushland behind our house, but you are very welcome to wander along the driveway and to the dam. There is plenty of wildlife on the property, so be aware that if you are bringing dogs, that kangaroos, rabbits and wombats frequent the property. So walk your dog on a leash if you are concerned that they may chase the wildlife.
