Lovely forest retreat

House was absolutely amazing, photos dont do it justice with how impressive it looks on the inside! Property was clean and welcoming. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils which is so handy for a weekend away. Great communication with host and easy check in/ check out. There is no street parking but there was plenty of space for a couple of cars at the top of the driveway. The driveway was a little tricky to manoeuvre and was much easier with larger cars however could be managed with smaller cars if needed. Thanks for a great stay!

4WD driveway!

Three things! Driveway from hell - 4WD & experienced drivers only! Definitely hasn’t been professionally cleaned, ever! Thirdly, one can’t clean it themselves as 1 dishcloth & tea towel for 7 people.

Why they chose this property

We chose Cockatoo for its peaceful village feel, beautiful natural surroundings, and slower pace of life. Nestled in the hills and surrounded by lush greenery, it’s the perfect place to unwind, breathe fresh air, and reconnect with nature.
