This property was excellent for our stay. The sunsets each evening on the back deck were spectacular. We had everything we needed from plenty of towels to all that we needed in the kitchen. This is a wonderful property!
Beautiful cabin with outstanding views! We had fantastic Fall weather during our stay which made everything perfect! Sunrises and sunsets on the porch, fires in the fireplace at night. Cozy cabin, well appointed. Host was very responsive to all questions.Struck a great balance between enjoying the cabin and exploring Mountain View and surrounding area. Highly recommend if looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!
We loved everything about this cabin. The multiple outdoor spaces were great for sipping coffee in the morning. The driveway getting there wasn’t as steep as some people made it sound. We will definitely be back.
Stayed here with four adults and three kids and the space was absolutely beautiful and the view could not be the!

Perfect Cabin for our Trip
Cabin was exactly as pictured and described. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Gorgeous views! Loved having the outdoor fireplace connected to the house/porch!
We Loved Everything about this property! The deck and the views are Amazing! The outdoor fireplace is Awesome as well! Everything in this cabin was perfect for our sister getaway!
We spent most of our time at the cabin. The views were amazing and there was no reason to go in town! We played games, had a hammock and grilled a lot. The canon was beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed! We can’t wait to go back.
This place is so cozy with updated amenities. The view is all you need.

Wonderful place
It was beautiful. Clean and well maintained. Everything that we needed was there. Drive up the mountain was pretty scary the first time. But we got used to it. Mountainview is a wonderful town with lots to do.
This cabin was the perfect location for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The porch was great for morning coffee and beautiful views. A warm fire in the outdoor fireplace was a great way to end the day. Plenty of places to eat in town. The kitchen is well stocked for the nights we decided to cook. Very comfortable king size bed. Be prepared for winding roads with steep inclines.
Everything was great except the gravel road going up to the cabin. You need to stress the fact if there is any snow or heavy rain you will NOT be able to drive on that road. Steep doesn’t even begin to let people know that even a 4 wheel drive won’t get the last 1/2 mile !
What an amazing fun find! The fabulous cabin is perched high on a high ridge and is definitely a well-hidden gem. Perfectly clean and comfortable, the modern cabin offered every necessary amenity for helping make our weekend get-away memorable and worth every effort. We enjoyed relaxing on the spacious deck and actually spent most of our time there…so peaceful and beautiful. The town is close by and we enjoyed the city park’s paved walking trails and tennis courts which also serve as pickle ball courts. There are plenty of dining options nearby and plenty of stores to pick up anything you might need. We look forward to a return visit!
The cabin was beautiful and well-stocked. The road leading to it was deceiving. We thought we were at the very end of the road and turned around. But eventually realized there was more to it. So a sign would have been helpful. Would’ve been nice to have a king bed downstairs. My husband & I are not used to sleeping on anything smaller. And since I didn’t care to walk downstairs during the night to use the restroom, I ended up sleeping downstairs on the small bed while my husband slept upstairs. But we still had a nice, relaxing getaway.
Exceeded our expectations. We stay in vacation rentals 2-4 times a year and this was the cleanest we've seen. Fixtures are newish and decoration is very well done. Kitchen well furnished. View off the deck is good. Eagles and deer. Sits at the end of the road with no neighbors so very private. Dirt/gravel road in has a couple of steep spots but easily traversed in a passenger car. Less than 10 minutes from town with WalMart, etc. Excellent catfish restaurant by the bridge over the river. Great place for couples looking for a place to "lay back" for a few days!
