I stayed at The Haven as a solo traveller with my dog. It was a great location - right on the bike track, easy walk to the town centre for shops and cafes, lovely spot to go for a walk. The house itself was really well set up, very clean, everything you need for a nice relaxing weekend away. The front verandah was a great spot to relax with a cuppa and the yard and deck out the back were perfect. Really loved my weekend here!

This is a beautifully presented property that offers a fantastic secure pet friendly yard plus parking. It is centrally located with access to walking and bike paths moments from shops and cafes and the boardwalk.

Beautiful little getaway

We stayed at the Haven for a week with our pooch. It was the perfect location and the perfect accommodation. Right near the boardwalk and close to everything we needed. There is no laundry on the property but there is a laundromat in town if you're staying for a little longer than a few nights. Overall a lovely stay with a comfy bed and cute décor.

What an amazing property! We loved our short stay and wished we had more time there. The cottage is gorgeous - and comfortable and beautifully fitted out. Inside and outside are so well presented and maintained. The alfresco area and garden are private and really lovely - the perfect spot for soaking up the ambience. All we heard was the birdsong. The location is also excellent. So close to the path, an easy walk to the boardwalk and lido, and to the shops, cafes and restaurants. My partner and pooch absolutely loved our stay.We will be back for sure!

One of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. A perfectly renovated well equipped cottage with lots of extras. Fully fenced yard for the dog, great walks out the front door, heavenly bed and most accommodating host. Brilliant kitchen with dreamy coffee machine! Five stars all the way from us.

Very comfortable pet friendly little house to explore the area. We had a fantastic 5 night stay. Just a walk around corner to board walk and town. Our dogs loved the off leash beach and swimming in the lagoon. Very well presented clean house great for couples

A haven by name and nature

Outstanding accommodation experience and absolutely genuine empathic hospitality from the Hosts. At a VERY difficult time for us, the hosts helped us with checkin, responded quickly and the place is just a beautiful little gem that’s lovingly presented and cared for. So beautiful and such a needed oasis for us. Can not rave enough about how wonderful this place and our hosts made us feel.

Beautiful little cottage with everything we needed.

The cottage was cozy, the bed was extremely comfortable and the overall aesthetic has made me re-think my own home, someone has very nice taste!! I did rain a lot but we managed a walk into town for pizza and the boardwalk was a real treat only a few minutes away. The garden is lovely and full fenced. The kitchen fully equipped and we just had a really nice time away.

Lovely cottage for two

Perfect cottage stay well set up for two people for two nights. The hosts were extremely easy to contact and very helpful. The house is in a great location with the footpath at the front that takes you to town and the boardwalk. We had a very peaceful two night stay. As mentioned in another post just be aware there is no washing machine so for longer stays this could be an issue.

GOOD AS GOLD

Comfortable, beautiful decor and perfect location. Kitchen had all the basic plus more. Best choice for a short stay as tbere is no washing machine to deal with your clothes and towels from the days adventures that you do in this amazing .place.
