Intriguing architecture, the warmth of wood and a neutral palette is an inviting aesthetic and sets the tone for this tranquil coastal home. Walking into the entrance and through to the vast, open plan main living space of Terra Casa and it’s hard to know where to look first. Textured finishes, an impressive timber staircase, natural elements and calming neutral walls invite a carefree mood. An abundance of natural light from an impressive void and full height sliding doors certainly blur of the lines between the indoors and out. The welcoming kitchen and lounge area has a refined rustic feel while the built-in seating encourages easy conversation. Both spaces flow outdoors with elegance. The same timber and colour palette links the interior and luxurious outdoor entertaining area – which is hard to resist. Seating, a fireplace and cooking facilities will make this space a popular hang-out zone. You can escape the heat with a dip in the pool and then wander across the manicured lawn to the garden table for an afternoon snack. There’s also the option to relax under the shade of the trees with a book or even a picnic lunch.

Discover further relaxation and privacy in the upstairs master bedroom. Soft, inviting textures, a balcony, bespoke ensuite and views of the treetops ensure a peaceful experience. There’s more of that calming earthy vibe in the family bathroom and further three bedrooms – one houses a queen bed while king beds occupy the other two bedrooms. A short drive down the coast is the very secluded Broken Head Beach and Nature Reserve where you can enjoy a stroll and learn about the area’s Aboriginal heritage. The cafes, restaurants, bars and homewares and boutique stores of Byron Bay are within a 15-minute drive as is Byron beach and Cape Byron Lighthouse. If you want to experience the local produce and stunning rainforests, a day trip to the hinterland is a stress-free option.

Sustainability:
Sustainability was front of mind throughout the creation of Terra Casa. Natural alternative resources were used during its build, lowering the impact on CO2 emissions and shining a light on healthy living. The whole villa is made from hempcrete and walls rendered by natural lime product, offering a unique living space that is equally beautiful and sustainable.
