About this property
Dog Friendly 3 bedroom Lake House. Fenced Yard
Welcome to lake country, a true place to unwind situated just 25 minutes from Halifax, 25 minutes from the Annapolis Valley, and 20 minutes from Ski Martock.
In the summer months, experience loon calls and endless days on the warm-water lake. In autumn, the sunsets from your backyard will take your breath away. In winter, the sun may set earlier but that’s when stars come alive. (Is that Mars?) In spring, well, the landscaped perennial garden will speak for itself.
The space
This spacious 1,800 square feet vacation getaway spread over two levels can accommodate six people in three bedrooms—one large loft-style master bedroom with an ensuite on the upper level, one queen room on the main level with an adjacent three-piece bathroom. There’s also one kids room with two beds, a skylight, children’s books, toys and monkey bars (yes, monkey bars). No kids? Close the kids door and the house is all yours. You'll have a bed for your furry family member, too.
The open plan main floor consists of a large south-west facing living room with a wall of windows, a cozy reading nook with a wood burning fireplace, a stylish dining room and a fully stocked kitchen with walk-out access to the large two-tiered deck and a fully fenced in backyard.
Dividing the main floor living room you’ll find the main floor three piece bathroom with decorative tiles, wood accents, modern fixtures and a stand up shower. Under the oak staircase is what we call ‘the hobbit closet’ where you’ll find cozy blankets, games, books, and even painting supplies to bring out your inner artist.
The house doesn’t come without quirks, like the extra large pink bathtub in the master ensuite. But even so, you’ll find the water pressure in its shower just to your liking.

The entire main house and lake-front property is available for you to use. You can access the home 24/7 during your stay.
Other things to note
The driveway has parking for 4 vehicles. There is no additional street parking, as the road to the property is a one-way.
The property has two structures, and the main house and property is all yours. The separate garage is private.
The house is in a small lakeside community, and we do have neighbours on either side.
There is no laundry on-site but we are happy to arrange laundering.
We are pet friendly with fenced in yard. Let us know if your pup has any allergies (for his tasty treats).
