About this property

Omeo acreage getaway in the Victorian High Country

Faithfull Cottage is a 1940s restored farmhouse set on five acres in the town of Omeo. The house is warm and cosy and sleeps 10. It has great access to Mount Hotham and bushwalking and is walking distance to pubs, cafes, the bakery and supermarket. You can also walk to Livingstone Creek, the Omeo bike pump track, the natural swimming lake with jumping platform and the soon to be open stage one of Omeo's new mountain bike trail.

The house is well furnished with two bunk rooms, both which sleep four and a main bedroom with a Queen-sized bed. Linen and towels are provided. There are two living areas, a living room with wood burner and an open plan kitchen/dining/living. Both have TVs with Vast set top boxes and numerous channels. The house has one main bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet, with an additional toilet in the laundry. There is also a utility room which can house bikes for riders or be used as a drying room for skiers. Whilst there is no wifi, there is excellent phone and data reception, being positioned up on the hill above town. The house block is fully fenced, and well-behaved pets are welcome.

It's a beautiful house with lots of surrounding space and great views down into the Omeo Valley. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Perfect for mountain access and our dog
We loved our stay in the lodge! Our family found it comfy and warm despite the outside chilly temperatures. Everything was comfy, organised and clean!

A great cosy feel to the property, convenient location with shops and food nearby. Dog friendly, short drive to the ski resorts. Loved the amazing walking tracks nearby as well. Would definitely come back!

We're a family of five and we love getting away to skiing, walking, riding and generally being in the great outdoors. We've restored Faithfull Cottage from its original 1940s state and hope you like our holiday place as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Set on five acres there's loads of space. The house has been restored and has great views. There's excellent accessibility to town, and all that the booming Omeo region has to offer.
