We were blown away with how well stocked the cottage was with cooking and baking supplies, an abundant number of kayaks/paddle boards and a separately built “kids house” adjacent to the cottage filled with outdoor games. The water was shallow, warm and crystal clear! We would not hesitate to book this place again!
My only note
Make sure you have the access code before leaving home
The property is beautiful as is the Cabin
Cabin has all amenities although could use a
spatula (couldn't find one). Great swimming
Lake is quiet, seen some people out fishing
didn't go myself.
Can't say enough about how clean and beautiful
this property is and how nice the Cabin is.
i.e. The local store is very well stocked
has anything you require or might have forgot.
We all agreed that Joaquin’s place was far better than advertised and we truly hope to get back here again. You know when you look at the pictures, and try to visualize the place-it’s great when that actually jibes with the reality. In this case, it was over and over again better live.
More SUPs, games, the hottub was perfect, barbecue outstanding. EVERYTHING you need in kitchen, a little portable boom box we could bring out to dock, chairs a plenty, towels abounding… on and on—we wanted for nothing!
We even struggled with the lock when we arrived (our fault) and ding a ling, it opened, and life was beautiful.
Truly five stars— or, as I suggested, greater even!
Cheers,
Huntley A.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Merci !

About the host
Hosted by Joaquin
We are a happily married couple of entrepreneurs with two young boys who love traveling, the outdoors, nature, sports, and the water, whether it be salted or not. We are big fans of the ocean, lakes, and rivers, and have always gone camping and rented cottages across many different regions of Quebec and the United States.
We bought the dreamy Lake House in the Laurentians, Quebec for us to enjoy and make long lasting memories with family and friends. To help support our dream of having our own cottage, we decided to offer for rent to people like us who would enjoy and take care of it as much as we do.
We look forward to connecting with you as host and hope you would take care of the Lake House as if it was your own. In the meantime, we will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Thank you so much for choosing us and we hope to welcome you back soon.
