Spacious stay in Philly....a little loud
The property was exactly as shown in the listing. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Accessing the house was a little involved as you have to first open the front locked gate door, go the garage and open the garage door (if you have a car). Then park the vehicle (if have one) and go into the house where there is another lock. It was a little overwhelming as we arrived with our young children at 2am. There was a very "lively" atmosphere in the street at that time. We soon learned there is a Hookah lounge across the street that draws a crowd. It was really nice to have a garage to park in. It is narrow so you need to be careful pulling in, but it was still nice! The house was very clean and spacious. More than enough space for our family of four. The location has lots of places to eat within walking distance. It is not walkable distance to major landmarks and areas of interest so you will have to drive or Uber there. As mentioned before, the house was great with no issues. The location was not as desirable for a family with young children. Driving was not a problem in Philly; research parking before you go to different areas though....it will save you a headache. :)
Overall, good property but lively area at night that is loud; off-duty police officers were in the area every night.
