We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, spacious, modern, and clean house. It is fully equipped with everything you need, including plenty of dishes, utensils, glasses, towels, and cleaning supplies. Located away from the highway, it is very quiet. One point to note is that, based on the advertisement, I expected the property to be directly on the waterfront. However, you need to walk along a lovely but quite long boardwalk to reach the dock. I also expected the property to be closer to town, so be prepared for about a 25 minutes drive.Overall, it is a beautiful property, and if you don’t mind the distance from town and the walk to the dock, it is definitely worth considering!

The kitchen was small for 10 guests. Overpriced for what it was. No view of any sort.

Eclipse 2024 Getaway

Beautiful house and location near center-line of 2024 eclipse path. House was apportioned with everything but our groceries for our stay. Hot tub was very much enjoyed as we had snow three days prior to eclipse. Thanks again! Merci Beaucoup! -Joe from Nevada

I was mislead about the proximity of the lake. It was was a 10 minutes walk and there is a broken plank on the platform that leads to the lake which is dangerous. Also, we saw a mice. Otherwise, everything else was great.

We had reserved this house in order to spend a family weekend together. Since we were 7 adults, all bedrooms, including the mezzanine, were used.On our first full day, I informed the host that the temperature in the master bedroom was unbearable despite having lowered the thermostat upon our arrival Thursday evening, in an attempt to reduce the heat in this room, which has neither an opening window nor a screen door to allow for ventilation. It was only late Friday that I received a callback informing me that the temperature had been adjusted remotely. However, several hours later, there was still no noticeable change. We ultimately had to take matters into our own hands by shutting off the corresponding breaker. In addition, we noted several issues that, in our opinion, could be improved:- On Saturday evening, we spotted a mouse inside the house.- The outdoor areas were dirty upon our arrival. We attempted, unsuccessfully, to clean the chairs so we could enjoy the outdoor dining table.- The television appeared to be defective, as it was impossible to see the full image on the screen.- None of the bathroom doors could be locked.- The screen door in the main living area was torn, allowing insects to enter. We are sharing these comments in a constructive spirit.

Wont recomment to no one

We stayed at this cottage for 5 days We had problems heating the place, made multiple phone calls with no call back. Finally they sent someone on the last night. The technician mentionned that everything to was closed. Did a complaint to the manager to end up being lied to 3-4 times

We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Allow me to clarify a few points, as we maintained continuous communication with you throughout this period. Your request regarding the fireplace, made on your first day, arrived on a Friday evening when no technician was available. After evaluation, we determined that it did not constitute an emergency requiring immediate intervention outside of service hours. As for the heated flooring, once you reported the issue on the third day, we arranged for an emergency technician to address it. They confirmed that the heated flooring was working properly but noted an issue with the fireplace. You were provided with a 15% compensation for the lack of fireplace, which we believe is a fair and reasonable solution under the circumstances. We regret that our commitment and professionalism were not perceived as intended. Your feedback is taken into account as we continuously work to improve our services.

Remi The Cocker Spaniel

Our 3night stay at this unit was memorable .Perfect size for 8 adults and 2pouches . A fee of 100 for an additional pet was collected fairly. Super clean, new, contemporary interior, and exterior. Beautiful polished concrete flooring, fully stocked kitchen, & pantry with toiletries and insect repellents. Everything was well thought of even a fly swatter!! Spacious deck, overlooking the lush heavily wooded private front porch. If you’re looking for a quiet secluded getaway to reconnect with family/friends then this will provide you just that. This is not ideal if you’re looking for an active weekend of water sports. there’s access to water nearby via a nice boardwalk but accessing the canoes provided by the chalet is not easy due to the marshland surrounding the area. Overall, a 5star for the chalet but the area there’s not much to do unless you drive to Magog (20-25min drive).
