Great location, only 10 mins walk to the town centre. The house was perfect for 4 adults and two kids. There were toys and games and a large fully fenced backyard area. We had a lovely time, thank you!

Great weekend getaway

Enjoyed our stay for a weekend away from the big smoke (Auckland). The house was as pictured and described and the hosts were super communicative and even left us some coffee to enjoy! A nice safe enclosed yard for our puppy as well. We would stay here again.

This was a great little bach, very well set up & convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The only negative was that the single bed was too short for my 6ft 5in son! (it would have also been too short for my 6ft husband)By the time we realised the girls weren't going to make it due to a serious health issue it was too late for our son to swap to the other bedroom. Unfortunately we had to leave early because of one of the girl's health issues. Kate was very understanding about this.Kate's communication was excellent throughout & the bach was spotless

Amazing homely stay

We loved our stay. It was great communication with Kate and David. It was so easy and homely. We loved walking into town and just hanging out at the house. It was super clean and tidy. We will be back to stay. Best place in Raglan to stay for an relaxing break away.

dog friendly weekend

We had a lovely stay in Raglan the property was ideal for our friends children and our dogs - pre arranged with a very helpful property owner. Fully fenced and lots of indoor/outdoor space. 10 minutes walk to town and 15 to wharf perfect location we will definitely be back. Property was well equipped and we had one chilly evening so used the very effective heat pump.

Great location

Awesome house in a great location. Walk to the shops or the beach within a few minutes. Fully fenced for kids, good off street parking and quiet neighbours. Games, books and toys were great. 4 stars given for cleanliness, as the drinking glasses were dirty, so we washed all of the cups and cutlery before we used them. Could definitely do with a dishwasher. A few more smoke alarms needed as well. Beds were firm if you like that. Only 2 face cloths for 6 people. Would stay again though, as it was a nice place overall.

Hi there, we are Kate and Dave and this is our family holiday home which we've owned since 2015.

Why they chose this property

Location really is everything. We are an easy walk to town (400m/ 5mins). You can pop out to one of Raglan's excellent coffee places, stop in for a drink at the Raglan Club, Harbour View Pub or any of the other bars, and of course there are plenty of eating out options - all on your doorstep.
Safe swimming and kayaking only minutes from home in the inner harbour. Or if you are a surfer (or keen to learn), Ngarunui Beach is 5.5km away (9 min drive).
If you are travelling with young ones, there are two playgrounds within easy walking distance as well as a great skatepark over the footbridge near the camp ground.
