Cozy Contemporary Penthouse in Northstar California Village

In the center of Northstar California's Village, this fabulous condo in Iron Horse South is both conveniently located and highly accessible. Park in the heated garage and take the elevator to your condo. Ski equipment can be stored in a private locker on site. The full kitchen has granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Featuring an alpine design interior, the living room is anchored by a beautiful stone-faced gas fireplace and opens onto a balcony that overlooks the Village and mountain peaks with morning sun. The warmly appointed master bedroom has a king bed, closets, TV, as well as a connected bathroom with dual sinks, shower and separate bath tub. A leather pullout sofa (queen size) in the living room sleeps an additional two persons. Washer and dryer are conveniently available in the unit. Located in a non-smoking building. Sorry, no pets are allowed.
Ski all day without ever getting into your car!
A convenience store, coffee shops and a number of restaurants and bars, are just steps away from the condo. Gondola to the ski mountain and Ritz-Carlton are only yards from the front door. The unit includes access to an outdoor heated pool & jacuzzi, a fitness center, pool table, and steam room.

A destination resort, Northstar California is close to several world-class ski resorts (Palisades USA, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl, Heavenly Valley, Kirkwood). Nearby is quaint, historic downtown Truckee and the Truckee Airport. Approximate driving times: 15 minutes to Truckee or Lake Tahoe, 50 minutes to Reno International Airport, 1 hour to South Lake Tahoe & Heavenly Ski Resort.

Fantastic Northstar Condo

We had a great stay in Northstar. The condo was just as described. It is a great location for for a fun, hassle free ski trip to Northstar. This place is super...all the amenities!

Our favorite place to stay at Northstar!

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was super clean and well-stocked. Check-in was extremely convenient even checking in well "after hours". The host was very responsive when I had a question, but we didn't need to communicate much as everything about the stay was straightforward.

Perfect Location

I stayed here with my wife and two boys. The unit was in a perfect location. Ski in and Ski out. Right in the middle of the Northstar Village. Had everything we wanted and needed. Will definitely would stay here again. We loved it. The host was extremely nice and accommodating.

Northstar-at-Tahoe Beauty

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful gem! The bed was very comfortable (and I am picky due to my bad back)! The views were breathtaking (we enjoyed a White Thanksgiving)! Kitchen is complete with spices and kitchenware! Very cozy, nice decor and quiet! It’s a very spacious one bedroom unit with a fabulous shower and oversized tub! We will be back very soon!

Luxury Condo in Great Location!

Perfect location on 5th floor of Iron Horse South... in the village! Close to everything including gondola to the Ritz. Condo was immaculate and in excellent condition and... absolutely beautiful! Property manager was very professional and responsive.

Excellent Experience

This unit was beautifully compact - full size kitchen, bathroom, fireplace - somehow configured into a fairly small space. Felt very comfortable, was immaculate when we arrived, is centrally located in the Village, and is just perfect for two, although more can be fitted in. The price was reasonable compared to comparable units - my wife and I feel very comfortable recommending this accommodation to any and all! The only negative about this complex is the garage - every space is extremely tight and almost claustrophobic, and the elevator seems sort of rickety.

Perfect get away!

My 2 sons & I booked this condo with Kathy for several days...the condo was perfect for our needs! Nicely decorated, very comfortable king, good size bathroom, quiet and very clean. Also, Kathy was great to work with...responded so quickly to any question I had...great experience!

Greatest place to stay for a mountain getaway!

This place was incredible! Very modern, cozy, clean, and located on the top floor of the Northstar Village. Brought my family here to stay for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. I was able to work remotely from this property while checking out the view of the mountains (all while the snow was falling and the fireplace roaring.) Once I was ready to hit the slopes to snowboard all I had to do was go outside and walk 3 mins to the gondola that takes you up to the lodge... doesn't get any easier!! The owner Kathy was great, perfect communication and answered any question I threw at her. We will definitely be back to stay during snow season. If I were to change anything about the place it might be to add a ceiling track light in the living room. (It was just a tad dark in the evenings.) Checking in and out was painless, this place was worth every penny and we can't wait to come back.

Super convenient!

The condo was well maintained and had all the necessities that we could ask for. Staying in a condo right in the village was very convenient as we could get on the mountain quickly and come back if we needed to. Furthermore, for those not skiing, they were able to walk around and enjoy the shops/restaurants without having to drive anywhere. You definately pay a premium for these privileges! Kathy was very responsive to my questions and was in touch throughout our stay, making sure that everything was good. Thanks Kathy!

Very nicely equipped condo with a wonderful view of the mountains

My husband and I spent several days in this very nicely furnished condo on the top floor of Ironhorse. It has a great view of the mountains. The owner, Kathy, was very easy to work with and she takes credit cards ( a plus if you're booking last minute like we usually are). We would definitely like to go back

Very convenient and nice stay

The owner Kathy is very responsive and pleasant to work with. We had a very smooth check-in. The condo is right in the village which is super convenient for me to get back from skiing to feed my baby in the middle of the day. Also, the condo is well maintained. Great Northstar Condo

Top floor condo with vaulted ceilings, balcony and nice finishes. Additional perks included underground parking with direct access to condo, ski locker, hot tub, fitness center and Wifi. Being part of the NS Village made our stay easy and enjoyable. Host was a pleasure to work with and gave us a late checkout so we could enjoy the fresh snow.
