The room was lovely, as was the whole property. It is in a historic building which has been very tastefully renovated. The owner updated the property while keeping the lovely historic details. The downtown area surrounding it was walkable to shops and restaurants and we felt very safe enjoying our walks in the area. The place felt comfortable yet spacious. The property is on a busy downtown street, so there will be some traffic noise. The owner thoughtfully provided noise-cancelling white noise machines and earplugs in each bedroom, for those who may be bothered by the traffic noise. We enjoyed our stay at the Woodford and will likely book there again if we are in the area.

Wonderful Boutique Bourbon Stay

The property, location and details were all perfect for our stay in the Four Roses Unit. Every little detail has been thought out. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Horse riding weekend!

A quick trip in town to ride my horse and enjoy Versailles! We stayed in Four Roses room and it was perfect for me and my barn mate. We enjoyed dinner across the street and enjoyed our short stay!

Perfect stay in Bourbon country

Staying at the Woodford hotel apartment was so easy and convenient! The self check in process was great for us and the apartment location easy to find and right in the little downtown. All amenities were easy to use and functioning properly. The property was quiet and safe. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location to visit the Bourbon Trail

The suite was very clean. We had everything we needed. The owners were quick to reply to answer questions. The bourbon theme was perfect since we were there to visit distilleries, and there were so many within a reasonable drive. We'd definitely stay here again.

Very lovely and charming hotel. I loved that we could open our windows. The air was so cool and fresh outside, so it was really nice to be able to sleep with the windows open. The four roses suite was perfect for my mother and me. We had such a good time sitting and having our morning coffee in the main room. We ordered food from a cute cafe and I walked to pick it up. Really cute downtown. There is also a very nice park in walking distance.

Weekend at Kenneland

We found the Old Woodford Hotel on VRBO and selected it due to its look, accommodations, location to Keeneland as well as the surrounding options for meals, drinks, etc. We arrived earlier than planned, but Kristin accommodated us with an early check-in, and even met us in person to assure we could access the property. The staff (maintenance handling upgrades and repairs) was helpful in directing us to local dining options and even brought us a round at one the local establishments! This was hospitality at its finest, and we will return again for race season without a doubt!
