Check-in Failure & Poor Communication: Property wasn't ready at 4 PM or 10 PM. Management knew of major issues at 3:30 PM but failed to inform me, leaving no time for alternate plans during a known medical emergency.Unacceptable Conditions: Dirty surfaces/dishes, moldy coffee pot, broken furniture, missing shower curtain, and incomplete preparation.Safety & Privacy Violations: A male tenant entered through a locked interior door. Undisclosed shared spaces; management knew three women were renting.Misleading Listing: Inaccurate photos/description, undisclosed fees, and required post-booking cash app payments for check-in details.Poor Management: Concerns were dismissed or met with rudeness. No meaningful apology or adequate compensation offered.Final Note: As a long-term, 5-star VRBO user and property owner, this is my first negative review, written to warn others. The property was clean and as advertised. We made a few suggestions and the owner/manager implemented them. Location was good, park across the street, very close to downtown, groceries, restaurants and transportation.
Was a great house for our purpose as it had a lot of room for guests. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub. Will rent again when we return to Winston-Salem
This was a super cute, updated, and clean bungalo style house. Our hosts were very attentive, and on top of any questions we had. We had plenty of space for my family of 6 plus our friends and their child. Brand new hottub, and grill. Everything was really nice and well kept. The place had plenty of towels too. We only got to stay one night but it was perfect for our little trip to the NC zoo for fathers day.
Just so everyone knows the house is haunted. A woman was murdered there 10 years ago and the host fails to mention that. She failed to give us the code to even get in the first night so we’d had to get a hotel the first night at 3am. Look up the address and you will see the homicide evidence. She also said that a washer and dryer is included but that’s In the basement where she said “you can’t go down to” so don’t plan on doing laundry. I heard banging around the house all night and had multiple paranormal activities happen. Do not stay here unless you’re a ghost hunter and love women lying to you.

Wow. The code was on vrbo under check in directions. She was so drunk she did not find them in that section. The washer and dryer is in the master closet... It's funny.... she hated it so much, but she EXTENDED her stay....! If it was so haunted why did she extend her stay? She was so kind to me during her stay then boom a bad review... Some people will do anything for a refund.
