Everything was excellent except the washer/dryer combo was not good. It took forever to dry anything. Also, there was no can opener. We were able to barrow one from the folks next door. Otherwise, the location and place was amazing.
This property is owned by a large corporation which makes communication take twice the effort, but overall the apartment was clean and very comfortable.

Beautiful place
Just as pictured. No problems once WE GOT IN BLDG/APARTMENT! 3:45pm on Friday…. No message from property manager. I called and was on hold/ working with VRBO for 1 hour and 15 minutes just to get codes to get in bldg and door. Not how I like to start a weekend of fun planned away from home.
Overall it was a great experience. It was very clean, great size for everyone to be comfortable. It’s a fantastic building for children to stay and have fun. The lounge/game area is very large. The rooftop pool was clean and nice. There was communication before the stay but absolutely none during the stay. Thanking God there weren’t any pertinent issues during our stay. The six digit codes for the building access and apartment access can get pretty tedious. We were not supplied with any fobs so we need to enter the codes every time we came in and out. Honestly, that was the only negative part of our stay, therefore, it was a five star stay!
The good: plenty of room, big kitchen and fridge, big bathrooms and closet space. Very clean (other than one exception noted below.) Great location, building seems new, rooftop patio and pool area is phenomenal, complimentary coffee in lobby, NoMa is a nice neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and museums. ~25 minute walk to the Mall.
The big issue: the bed/mattress in the master bedroom in unit 601 is so worn out it should be thrown away. The sag in the middle was so bad. It was practically cartoonish how bad it was. We had to sleep on the outer edge of the mattress.
Minor issues: no chair in the living room as shown in photos so less seating than expected, no remote control for bedroom TV, front bathroom toilet was full of hair and dirt (cleaners likely emptied vacuum into it and forgot to flush - kinda gross). It’s owned by a management company so it doesn’t feel “homey” like other VRBO properties we’ve stayed.
The unit was in a nice building, conveniently located near a grocery store and the NoMa Metro station. Parking was convenient with a daily charge. The build was secure however the need to enter a code on a keypad every time you enter the building, use the elevator or enter the unit was cumbersome. It would be much nicer if they would provide use of the phone app (which we saw other residence using) to tap on the key pad. There was very little in the kitchen if you want to cook in the unit. There were only two wash clothes and towels for each bedroom when we had a week booked.
Communication with the leasing company was very difficult. I was frustrated on many occasions. The original payment went through VRBO and the second payment required multiple disclosures and copy of my credit card send via email. Then someone came to the unit asking for a copy of the credit card after it had already been provided.
During the stay the refrigerator was leaking water which I called to report. We returned at the end of the day and the refrigerator had been unplugged with no note or explanation. The refrigerator unplugged was no longer cold end we had food and drinks in it. There was no explanation or note provided.
