It wasn’t too bad, but there were a few red flags, including:
-slightly decrepit interior and exterior
-we were told to bring our own sheets
-assured blankets would be provided, but there were none
-faucet in bathtub did not work.
-barbecue had no propane, so was useless (bbq was not covered either, and was full of water). Prior to the visit I had requested that the proprietor ensure that propane was adequate for us to use, but they told us to fill it up ourselves at the local hardware store, which was closed.
The hosts’ were heavy-handed and uninviting in their communications and list of ‘house rules’.
Not terrible, but far from good.

Sorry to hear your comment. We just got back the management r control of the cottage from the management company, but we was still use the cleaners of the management company, so the communication with them is not very smooth, about the blankets. We would like to provide blankets, but the cleaners are locked in the cabinet. As for the bbq gas tank, it was true that there was no gas at that time. We apologized at that time, and said that you go to fill up the gas yourself and we can Email transfer $50 as compensation. We didn’t expect home hardware can be close during your whole stay. As for the house rules, we took house rules from friends cottage rule and modified them. But anyway, I am sorry for your dissatisfaction. We have corrected the above problems. Iwe will also will make compensation for you. When you stay with us in the future.
