On New Years Day 2024 the landscape of the coastline was drastically changed by a tectonic movement once every several thousand years and the earthquake caused extensive damage to the village

地震の爪痕が建物、道路にもたくさん残ってるし、輪島からもかなり遠いですが、何より海と夕陽が素晴らしい。 気持ちの良い部屋でゆっくり過ごせた。ただ近くにはコンビニもないので、途中で食料などを調達しないといけないので注意。

宿自体が素晴らしいことはもちろん、車があれば能登半島を珠洲から、輪島、能登金剛、のと鉄道まで網羅でき、長期滞在にとてもふさわしい宿だと思う

宿自体が素晴らしいことはもちろん、車があれば能登半島を珠洲から、輪島、能登金剛、のと鉄道まで網羅でき、長期滞在にとてもふさわしい宿だと思う。黒島の集落自体にはコンビニなどは無いが（それがむしろ良い）、車で15分も走ればスーパーがあり、地元の食材を調理して食すのに便利だった。気軽な食事処としては、仮設住宅敷地内の「コミセン門前BASE」にお世話になった。また、鹿磯の「海辺の杣径」のディナー、ランチを堪能した。一週間があっという間でした。
