Audubon Acres l pool table & outdoor dining

The Space:

Welcome to our beautiful mid-century ranch home, Audubon Acres!  Adjacent to the Point O Woods golf course, this was the longtime home of the CEO of Whirlpool Corporation.  From the genuine slate roof to the unique laid-brick flooring, every square foot whispers quality.  With its spacious living room and large adjoining kitchen, this home is perfect for corporate retreats and large family gatherings. Gather in the spacious, fully appointed open-concept kitchen/dining room.  Enjoy the pool table beside the picture window, or head out for a round of golf on the Point O Woods course just outside.



This home is also just a 3-minute drive from the Blue Dress Barn wedding venue--perfect for wedding guests!



Sixteen guests can sleep comfortably. There are 3 ground-floor bedrooms with 1 king and 2 queen beds, and a twin hide-a-bed in the living room. The master bedroom has an attached full bathroom, and there are 2 more full bathrooms on the ground floor.



Downstairs is another bedroom with a queen bed and a queen sofa bed in the common area.  Downstairs also has a kitchenette and a half bath.



The in-law suite can sleep an additional four guests in a queen bed, one twin bed, and one twin trundle bed. In the in-law suite, you will also find a full bathroom and kitchen.



There is an additional twin air mattress that can be used during your stay.

We all enjoyed our time together at this large family home. We were in town for a wedding and al stayed together. We had kids ages 1-10 along with adults. The backyard was big and all fenced in. Very nice home, the rooms are bigger than the pictures lead you to believe. We would come back here for Thanksgiving next year if it is available. I was very impressed that the host team door dashed us flash lights when the power went out due to high winds. It was a blessing and they were very proactive and helpful in our communications. The kitchen has basics for cooking, so if you need anything specific, bring it (for instance we only could find 1 mixing bowl and no medium size sauce pans).

Beautiful Grounds and Space For Everyone!

We had a group of 10 in town for our daughters wedding at 12 Corners Vineyard. The home was perfectly laid out giving everyone their own space. Although we weren't there too much, the grounds were beautiful, everything was very clean and would 10/10 stay again.

Great getaway

We loved this place! It was comfortable, clean and on a beautiful wooded lot. This was a great place for us to get together with friends. It would also be great for family reunions. Plenty of space and it is supplied well. We hope to use this location again some day. The host always communicates within the hour before and during our stay. Great service all around!

Unforgettable Weekend

Our family gathered for a surprise weekend to celebrate Grandma’s 70th birthday. The property is spacious with lots to explore and everything you could need. Wedding weekend

We attended a Saturday wedding at a venue in the area. This property was conveniently located just a couple minutes away. The home was beautiful, spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner was courteous and prompt with communicating before and during our stay. I highly recommend this home, and if we need to stay in the area in the future I would definately book this property.

The main house is a lovely space. Lots of room, great back yard. Pool table and kitchen were great. Downstairs was awesome. The in-law suite, however, stunk of mildew to the point of being unusable. Gas fire pits were out of propane. And the provided wood for fire would have last, maybe, an hour or two.
