Set back from the main highway, Ash Cottage Mudgee sits privately in a quiet space between our other properties: Claret on Douro and The Lunchroom. You won't see neighbours as this cottage faces north and has a fence to maintain your privacy. There is a shared driveway only, and you'll have your own parking space right next to the cottage. You also have your own laundry and clothesline.
With a firepit in the entertaining area and outdoor setting, you can enjoy looking up at the clear night skies and then head inside to the cosiness of the cottage.
Mudgee is unique region, being home to many quality wineries and famous vineyards. It also boasts high-quality food venues and of course the area is steeped in history. It is located on Wiradjuri land and the name Mudgee is said to derive from the term "Moothi", meaning 'nest in the hills'.
The town has many unique craft shops, restaurants, churches, pubs and a thriving cafe culture.
A leisurely walk from the cottage to the CBD will take you about 10 minutes, as you admire the beautiful homes and gardens along the way.
If you're driving into town, there is ample parking on the streets of the town and also some public carparks.
