Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy the peace and quiet, lake views and wildlife. This cabin is located right on the lakeside at the spectacular Murray Lake Saskatchewan. This is a fully equipped cabin with an electric fireplace, 2 bedrooms - 1 queen bed, 2 double beds, one full bath, a huge wrap around deck, and lots of parking. Our cabin has a Smart TV, we also have Wifi at this time.

Great little getaway. BBQ was good. Lots of wood to use in the firepit. Which we both used. Not fond of Roku t.v. but we did listen to some music and news. Quiet little community. Would rent again.

Disingenuous Description as a Lakefront Property

Overall, our stay was comfortable and the modern cabin was pleasant. We were looking for a lakefront property, which it is, but there is no beach or lake access from this property. There is a long walkway from their shore but it never reaches the water, it is surrounded by reeds and cattails on all sides so there is no place to put in a paddle board or canoe. It is located on the edge of a bird sanctuary which is nice but if you are looking for property with trees, a beach or direct access to the lake for paddling etc this is not the place. We had to find a public beach at Cochin for all of the above. The fire pit was a portable bowl that was so small it had to be held down by a rock so it wouldn't blow away. We were not able to use it because the wood that they provided wouldn't fit the small saucer. The BBQ also needs to be replaced entirely or needs new burners, the food we brought for grilling had to be done in the oven. There is potential for this place but there is work that needs to be done to make it comfortable for guests (i.e., put in a proper fire pit and sitting area, a new(er) BBQ, leave instructions for guests so they know where everything is and how to operate the remote blinds, lights, etc.) and most importantly add photos of the lakefront so guests are aware there is no beach or water access.
