Mareazul is a first world vacation rental concept "Resort Living". Located only 3 km from Playa del Carmen all units are beach accessible.
Mareazul Resort has a huge Infinity pool, with Jacuzzi sections, and is less than 200 meters walk through green path walks and pools that would take you to Mareazul beach.
The resort amenities are among others *Gym with dressing and lockers area, *massage rooms, Zen zone areas to read and relax, Lobby, convenience store, concierge front desk, just a short walk to an 18 Holes Golf Course designed by Nick Price, (additional cost). Massive open spaces for walking and exercise all around the resorts.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed our week at this condo. You get a spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartment with a wonderful patio, kitchen, and mini pool (mainly for ambiance, but kids sometimes like to splash around in it). The grounds of the resort are gorgeous. The pools are hard to believe - they cover an area of several football fields! Restaurants are good and reasonably priced. Mini store with snacks and essentials open whenever you go. Helpful front desk staff. Great grass/sand tennis court and another hardcourt almost complete. Beach is fantastic and right behind the pool bar. A few other restaurants within walking distance. Easy to get cabs and go anywhere. Huge grocery store 3 min drive away.Minor gripes:Reserved beach chairs TWICE and once they lost our reservation and the second time our name was on the list but they were full and had no chairs. They need more pool chairs and beach chairs.Two large hot tubs in the pool area, but they were off and cold - really needed them in December!Kitchen had lots of appliances and utensils etc but so many that there was no room to put food.Cleaning was not available because they were busy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 5 nights, the apartment isn’t beautiful. They offer complimentary shampoo and body wash. We found also dish soap and all utilities needed for our stay. The air conditioner works beautifully! And the little “pool” and terrace offer a great alternative for sunbathing if one wants to stay in. I was able to book a late check out and worked also with no problems. Great check in and check out process! And the property is really good located just 12 minutes by car from Quinta Avenida. The beds and pillows are also very comfortable. The only thing would be, I’m not sure how would 7 people fit. My son slept on the couch and although not very uncomfortable it was not the same as a bed. I would stay with 6.
