Villa nicola

The villa was very clean. All the amenities to hand. Excellent host. It was a nice touch with the food hamper to see you through a couple of days. Beach and restaurants within walking distance. Airport just over 20 minutes away. If i had anything that wasn't to our liking was the beds but to be fair to the owners i suffer with a bad back so thats not on them. We would definitely recommend to our friends, and hopefully we can stay there again.

What more could you want...

...for a relaxing holiday?! We've just returned from an 11-day stay at Villa Nicola, which has all you need to recharge the batteries. It's very well-equipped and located close to shops and restaurants, several within walking distance, and long sandy beaches (although Lendinuso beach wasn't clean enough for our liking). It's easy to get to all the well-known Puglia sites, with quick access to the good road network. Then on returning to the villa after a hot day's sightseeing, what could be better than cooling off in the large and well-maintained pool. We also enjoyed a wonderful trip down the coast in Cosimo's boat, kindly arranged by Richard and Noirin, stopping off to swim in the beautiful turquoise and crystal clear sea. Richard and Noirin are very attentive hosts, always on hand if needed and providing useful recommendations. We would particularly like to mention how spotlessly clean the villa is. In all, we highly recommend a holiday at Villa Nicola. Thanks for making our holiday a success. Helen and Michel

Piscine magnifique

Très bel extérieur avec une très grande piscine dans un quartier très calme. La villa est très bien équipée. Richard a toujours répondu tres rapidement à nos messages. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le panier offert ( pâtes, tomates, pain.. )qui nous a bien rendu service. Richard et son épouse n’avaient pas pu nous accueillir le premier jour mais sont venus à 5:30 le jour de notre départ pour nous saluer. Très bon séjour en famille à la découverte des pouilles et à profiter de la piscine!

Villa van alle gemakken voorzien van super zwembad

Wij werden vriendelijk en gastvrij verwelkomt in deze mooie villa aan de kust tussen Brindisi en Lecce door Richard & Noirin. Zowel voor als tijdens de reis waren zij super betrokken. Het was een fijne plek om nog een weekje te relaxen na onze rondreis door Puglia. Met name het ruime buiten gebeuren vonden we geweldig inclusief het relatief grote zwembad. Aan alles is gedacht, ze hadden zelfs stoeltjes en parasols om mee te nemen naar het strand. Het huis zelf was van alle gemakken voorzien en ruim gesorteerd. De horren in alle ramen en deuren waren als heel prettig ervaren. Omdat we begin september hier verbleven was het relatief rustig in Lundinuso. De vele vakantiehuizen die hier zijn waren verlaten en de meeste restaurants gesloten. We aten s avonds meestal in het super leuke Brindisi afwisselend met het toeristische Lecce. Gelukkig waren wel de bakker annex traiteur en in het dorp verder de supermarkt wel open. Voordeel was weer dat het super rustig was op het prachtige kindervriendelijke strand van Torre San Gennaro, hier nog geen 5 autominuten vandaan. Een auto is noodzakelijk in deze omgeving.

We are an Anglo-Irish couple who fell in love with Puglia and bought our first "Place in Puglia Villas" property ( Villa Sun Beach) as our holiday home when our family was young.
Our love of the area grew and when our children flew the nest, so we decided to relocate here to Puglia in 2006 which is also the year that we bought and re-built Villa Nicola.
We then sold our house and business back home, relocated here and bought additional properties over the next few years.
Each one has been transformed into beautiful holiday rentals for our guests, with many families returning to us year after year and becoming friends in the process.
From April when we start taking bookings, until October when we close up for the winter, we dedicate ourselves to making sure that your hard earned and well deserved holiday goes as perfectly as possible and as we live just 10 minutes away from any of our properties, we are always on call if required during your stay.
For our guests we can organise extra services such as In-Villa dining, In-Villa Italian cookery lessons, inshore sea fishing and coastal excursions, winery and wine-tasting tours, bicycle hire as well as restaurant recommendations and advise on excursions and attractions, full details of these and all other infomation are in each of the properties In-Villa guidebook and also on our website at www.placeinpuglia.com.
