HACIENDA MALLET



Hacienda Mallet is for the small-group trip where you'd rather set the table outside and pour the drinks yourselves than book a restaurant. The villa sits in Vistamar, one of the resort's most established golf neighbourhoods, on walled grounds with a sweeping cobblestone driveway that closes the road off behind you. Four bedrooms sleep up to eight, with an included cook handling all the meals.



Most days at Hacienda Mallet shape themselves around the gazebo at the pool's edge — breakfast in the shade, lunch after a swim, dinner with the built-in BBQ working as the night settles in. The pool runs alongside with the fairway just past the palms, so the golfers in the group are an hour away from playing the round and back without missing much. And the primary suite has a small walled outdoor shower garden of its own — for the morning before anyone else is up.



The trips out the gate are short — dinner at Altos de Chavón is 2.4 miles, a round at Dye Fore is the same, and Teeth of the Dog (ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards) is 3.4 miles in the other direction. Minitas Beach is 1.5 miles for the days you want the sand, and the Marina is 2.2 miles for an evening out. Hacienda Mallet is the villa for the trip you want to spend mostly inside the walls — meals outside, privacy in, and the resort close enough when you want it.

RESORT FEE

All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort must register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort. Effective February 1, 2026, the fees are as follows: US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older); US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12); Complimentary for children under 4 years old.



RESORT FEE/ACCESS & AMENITIES INCLUDE

Each guest will receive an ID with personal information and details of stay that will provide access to the following services and amenities:

FOOD BUDGET: If your villa comes staffed, we suggest as a rough guideline to budget $50-$60 per adult per day for grocery costs if eating three meals at the villa (not including alcohol). This of course can vary due to your dietary requests. The Marina has a well-stocked supermarket with groceries, alcohol, and a wide selection of other products (sunscreen, hygiene products etc)

Q: What makes Hacienda Mallet's outdoor shower garden different?

Few villa rentals at Casa de Campo offer anything like it. Off the primary suite, a frosted-glass door opens into a private walled garden, open to the sky and planted with river pebbles, a fiddle-leaf fig, and red crotons. Morning bathing happens here instead of in a standard en-suite shower — outdoor, in private, before the rest of the household is up. The closest comparison most guests will have is a high-end spa retreat; here it's part of the primary bedroom.



Q: How private is Hacienda Mallet?

From any outdoor space at Hacienda Mallet — pool, dining pavilion, lounge pavilion, or the primary suite's walled shower garden — no neighbour overlooks the property. The estate sits behind walled grounds with a sweeping cobblestone driveway screening the villa from the road, and mature plantings enclose the entire garden. Inside, an interior courtyard separates the formal living spaces from the guest wing, so multi-family groups settle into different zones without constantly crossing paths.



Q: Can Hacienda Mallet host an outdoor dinner for the full group?

Yes — the estate is set up for it as a default. Dinner moves outside to the open-sided pavilion: a covered six-seat table beside the pool, with a built-in stainless-steel BBQ where the cook (or guests themselves) can grill directly poolside. A separate glass-enclosed lounge pavilion sits opposite for shaded seating or rainy evenings. Between the formal indoor dining room (seats ten) and the pool pavilion (seats six outside), the villa easily handles a full-group dinner across two settings.
